We purchased this unit because it fit the specific space where we were looking to put our washer and dryer. All of the features work as advertised and our clothes come great. Our only complaint is that the dryer doesn't seal and water leaks into the control panel.

The products require extra maintenance. The top ice maker requires chopping the ice at least 3 times a week, the water filter assembly required replacement, the washing machine requires the most maintenance, with draining the system often, otherwise the drainage water starts to smell! Never had these issues with similar products from other manufacturers Purchased a service contract with direct LG, another problem to get LG service rep

The only thing we can think of is maybe zippers and buttons from our kids clothes??? Why would this scratch so easy??? We are very very disappointed because we designed our laundry room around this machine. We would like it replaced. We live in a brand new home and this looks like a used machine. Sooooo horrible!! As far as functionality we are pleased outside of a few small features we can’t seem to figure out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hello, I purchased this product about a year ago and so far its been ok. My main concerns are the dryer doesn't seem to dry completely after any buildup occurs that would block air flow and lessen the ventilation cubic feet specs. I'm working on a solution for this by changing the fixtures that is mounted to a roof that the hot air escapes from. My primary concern is that I have this unit mounted on a FOX steel dolly to keep it on wheels so I can move it around if i need to easily with just myself. Unfortunately it's challenging to get the unit to not shake and tremble when it starts its spin cycle. Have you ever considered elevating the unit with some cargo straps that would support it from the bottom, but be mounted above the unit, basically suspending it in mid air? I believe by doing this it will eliminate the rocking and shaking. It's that or building a mini platform like they built skyscrapers on to resist earthquakes.

This unit is fabulous. Compact, efficient and powerful at getting the job done well. I am enthusiastically satisfied Look no further, this is 10/10!

Warranty doesn't cover and extended warranty at the time of purchase was ludicrously expensive. Beware if you buy this product, get the extended warranty because it will break. Cheap quality, go with a different brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Washtower for about 3 weeks now and have loved it! My wife and I love having the controls at the center of the unit removing the need to tip-toe reach up to use the dryer controls. The unit is incredibly quiet and stable when spinning- a large upgrade from our previous dated stacked unit which vibrated the whole house when spinning. Typically with high efficiency wash/dry units you 'agree' to a longer wash cycle, but we've been pleased that even with a FULL load that it took just over an hour to wash and less than that to dry. I gave it 4 stars on features because I have yet to figure out how to do a simple timed dry. Perhaps they deemed that cycle too inefficient given it bypass the moisture sensor.

I like the size. My issue, and strongly is not able to set to cold easily. Have to download app which when I bought I didn't think that was a prerequisite. I need a stacking unit , and I need to not use a stool. The center controls are great. I don't have control of my own machine, frustrates me. AI is good for some things but only if it is set up properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the LG WashTower for about a month now and love the look and compact size of the machine. Unfortunately, I am VERY VERY disappointed in its washing capabilities. It simply does not get my clothes clean. I've run a few test washes where I will lightly soil a light towel or old shirt (and I mean lightly soil with a spot of juice) and even after pretreating, washing on HEAVY SOIL setting, with 2 Extra Rinses the spot is still very much there. The clothes don't even smell clean. I assumed maybe there was a problem with the installation so had an LG tech come out and run some tests. The tech confirmed the machine is working as it should be. If you want an aesthetically pleasing washer dryer combo appliance, this fits the bill. If you want a decent washing machine that actually washes your clothes. I'd go in a different direction.

One Saturday morning, I was listening to "Home with Dean Sharp" (the "House Whisperer") on the radio and, voila! In this broadcast, he discussed laundry centers -- and this one received a rave review. That sold me. And now, the unit has sold me. I LOVE IT!!!
