It is all one unit; it has a smaller profile than regular stacking units yet actual washer and dryer drums are standard/large size. Furthermore the controls are backlit and there are lights in the drums. Also you cannot choose the water level; the unit/computer weighs the load taking out the guess work and specifies to use just one soap pod. So nice I just load and go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dryer died a month ago, and it couldn’t have happened at a better time. The wash tower caught my eye. The controls are reachable for both the washer and dryer. Cycles are shorter, quick wash is only 15 minutes. Super quiet, I love it!

The family has used this unit a few times throughout the past few weeks and we love it so far. The spin wash cycles are quick and the dryer gets the job done with the specified settings. Coming from another brand, the LG washer/dryer combo is much more efficient at getting the job done in a smaller form factor. The only reason for giving the combo unit a 4/5 star rating is the WiFi setup and app are a little clunky to use for multiple users, and it would be nice to have more customization for phone push notifications. The WiFi options are also a bit limited, but most of the time someone is at home anyway to check up on the unit. Another ding for the score is the dryer gasket tends to attract a lot of lint, so after every use, the lint collection net, the gasket, and the floor of the unit needs to be cleaned up a bit before putting the next load in.

The steam is another great feature. The clothes come out fabulous. I'm so happy to have purchased the washer/ dryer tower and I recommend to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our LG Wash Tower for about 2 weeks and love it! Both the washer and dryer accommodate large loads with no noise or vibration. The electronic controls were a little intimidating at first, but after just a few uses we found them to be pretty intuitive. This is an attractive and well-optioned unit.

This is a beautiful, solidly designed machine. It is much quieter than my previous all-in-one, and I love that the controls are all at the center of the unit(s). For all the intelligent design, however, I cannot fathom why the water temp, especially is so non-adjustable. "Normal" wash cycle will not let you set it for cold water. Why not? Many people and many detergents, have switched to using cold water routinely, to save money and energy use. I have to pretend I'm washing "Bedding" to be able to use cold water. Same problem with "Normal" drying. ONLY high heat is allowed there. I have not used high heat in 20 years. So, again, "Bedding" is my setting. This seems really dumb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago. There was a small issue but the tech came and fixed it within a week. The washtower is sleek and modern. Very user friendly. My only setback is that I cannot download extra settings because it does not support 5g. I also cannot turn off the turbo wash. The machines themselves are spacious and work wonderful.

I enjoy being able to send different programs to the machine for washing and drying. Both machines are extremely quiet. The one annoyance is the end of cycle ringtone, its a bit cheesy.

But, more importantly, it is SO versatile: greater choices for all operations: water temps, load size, blah blah AND dryer options. It is quiet and definitely a higher quality than any other brand I've owned. I am so happy to have resisted other 'stackable' - I'd give is 10 stars, if I could!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About a month ago, we bought the unit and I'm still excited. But, there's so much to learn, so I keep the book out to check before I start it up. The clothes wash so much quicker than my old machine and the dry much quicker. They even feel softer even though I haven't changed detergents or use fabric softener. There is one thing though. The dryer light is only on a short time when the dryer finishes. Is there a way to keep it on while taking the clothes out of the dryer?
