It is free of dyes, phthalates and formaldehyde which may potentially have harmful heath effects. We want a great smelling home without it possibly affecting our health. The Gain scent is fresh and like what you would expect when laundering with the Gain detergent. In fact, we have it plugged in the powder room adjacent to our laundry room. I can instantly smell the scent at its lowest setting when I enter the rooms. The scent stays consistent and does not diminish. Both rooms smell clean and welcoming. I played around with the settings and the lowest setting provides enough scent without being overpowering. At this setting, it is supposed to last 50 days. There is a blue indicator light on top of the plug that flashes twice when you first plug it in to show you that it is working, and it will flash continuously when it is time for a new refill. Although a cool feature, I think I could simply see when bottles are empty to determine this. I would recommend this scent for a bathroom or laundry room due to the detergent smell. Is a great product with consistent scent distribution without an artificial feel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so surprised by Febreze Plugin Gain Original Scent. Ive tried other brands of plugins in the past but the scent wasnt strong enough/didnt last but with this one its the opposite. The Febreeze Gain plugin lingers through the top floor of my house and the scent is so refreshing and clean. So far ive had it plugged in for over a week and its still going strong. I will definitely stock up on these!

I love the smell of febreeze it's the best smell ever! This product is great because it make your house smell amazing for awhile! I love a good smelling house so this is great for anyone who doesn't want to strong of a scent but loves a clean smelling house, 100 % recommend!

I have a 3200 sq ft house, 4 kids 3 of them are BOYS, 2 dogs, a cat, hamster and a Savannah monitor smells just happen and 2 of them fill up my whole home. I put one up stairs and one down stairs. And it works perfectly. I get so many compliments from friends and family that come in asking what I'm using. They can't believe that it's only 2 of them. Plus it does not mask odors it gets rid of them. Plus a little goes along way, meaning I do not have to turn it up all the way. I keep both on the lowest setting and they last forever too.

Whenever someone comes over they DO notice the scent and usually compliment me on such. I LOVE the Gain scent, as I use Gain for my laundry. When we put our house in the market, strategically I plugged in a "noticeable" in every room, on the low release... and the whole house was smelling wonderful! I really think that helped me to sell the house quicker :) The buyer, actually the husband, asked me about the aroma, and told me that his wife and him really liked it! That it was one of the good impressions of the house. This smell or scent gives me a kind of good vibe, and it seems other people felt it too! I just would like to have them lasting a little bit longer... Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Febreze Plug is great! I love how you can adjust how much scent you want from high to low. I can turn it up after cooking and turn it back down to keep the fresh scent at the level I need. The Gain scent is so fresh and clean smelling!
