I don't know if it is the extra part they put on the string or the awkward shape, but these hurt my vagina. They absorb but i was able to keep it in long enough to actually let it absorb. Will not get these again. maybe it is better for other people and I'm just sensitive. The wrapping is very nice. so there's a plus
