I love the blend of bright and colorful pieces combined with the more versatile earth tones and neutrals. There is also a booklet with instructions to build a half dozen clever ocean themed projects. My preschooler needed only a little assistance following the instructions, and my elementary age children had no trouble with the clear illustrations and simple steps. The guide helped them gain confidence and after they completed their planned projects they were inspired to build on their own and see what else they could design. Makes a great gift and a perfect rainy day activity the whole family can enjoy.
