[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a fan of the simplicity of the Haagen-Dazs Vanilla ice cream, with only five ingredients. Its a good feeling to know exactly what you are eating without additives. The flavor of the vanilla is rich and the texture is creamy, which reminds me of homemade ice cream recipes. This particular ice cream complements other foods well, such as pies, fruit crisps and soda floats. My children prefer it with a few sprinkles added on top.

You can look right on the container and see what's in the ice cream. We like it because it is satisfying and creamy and delicious. We eat it when we have root beer floats, ice cream sundaes, banana splits, and just the occasional bowl of ice cream. Because sometimes, that's all we want is just a bowl of ice cream. Haagen Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream is so smooth and fully Vanilla tasting that I could eat it all by itself and be perfectly satisfied. Hubby loves to have all of the goodies, so we end up with fruit on top or making the banana splits a lot of the time, but I really like just enjoying tasting the ice cream flavor on its own. The vanilla is so good it doesn't need anything else! I love that it's easy to find in the refrigerated case and that we know we can depend on it time after time to be just as smooth and delicious as the last time we had it.

This is a great size and amount for anyone who doesn't want to eat and just enough for 1 or 2 people. All the flavors are great and this flavor I enjoyed with so lays chips.

Vanilla is so diverse in its uses and my toddler and I enjoyed root beer floats. It provided an extremely rich creamy taste you cannot get with many ice cream brands.
