[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a big vanilla ice cream person, but I've been a Haagen-Dazs person since I started eating ice cream in 1983. I recently saw a link in an email from H-D to try the new version of Vanilla, so I gave it a shot. It's just perfect. The only thing I think could make it better is just a tiny bit of salt. I used to put salt on H-D Butter Pecan, and it made it my favorite ice cream for years. My current favorite is Triple Chocolate Fudge Cookie. I wish Haagen-Dazs would bring back Pralines & Cream.

I don't like the new formula. I know the ingredients are the same but you are whipping in more air. You used to have a high quality dense pack, now you whipped air in to save money. The 16oz pint size now only weighs 14oz. So I am paying the same for 14oz instead of 16oz in the same size container. We expect high amounts of air (overrun) in cheaper lower quality ice cream. it seems you joined them. That is why it melts so quickly now vs before

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been enjoying this ice cream as a late night snack/treat for the past couple of nights. It's so thick, creamy, yummy and indulgent. It's got such a nice vanilla flavor. I love that it's so natural and made with only cream, skim milk, cane sugar, egg yolks and vanilla extract. It's great by itself, but it would also go nicely paired with cake or pie or topped with chocolate syrup, caramel, sprinkles, and/or whipped cream or just about anything else you can think of! I would definitely recommend this ice cream to anyone who wants a high quality, delicious and natural treat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yummmm!! There is just something about a good vanilla ice cream with nothing on it. I love Haagen-dazs ice cream. I just picked up a container and a plastic spoon at the grocery store and ate half of it on my way home. I ate the other half a couple of days later. It says 2 1/2 servings and I would say that is right on. I ate it in 2, but are a little too much both times! Haha. It's hard to stop. I LOVE that it has real cream in it. It is hard to find an ice cream anymore with real cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed when I scooped this ice cream out of the container was how smooth the scoop looked. A lot of ice cream when you scoop it out the surface looks kinda rough but this scooped out perfectly smooth , so I knew I was in for a treat. Tasting it you could taste the real vanilla flavor was just perfect. any stronger and it would have been a vanilla bean taste. This was perfect. And the creaminess of it was awesome . It was smooth in your mouth and just melted in your mouth to a delicious creamy treat. My only complaint is the size of the container is only 14 ounces and not a full pint. So if you want a true vanilla ice cream made with quality products , I highly recommend this .

Would even say it's definitely one of my top favorite vanilla ice creams. Perfect individual serving or sharing for 2 I think. It's nice they place a safety film just under the lid too for packaging.
