Been a loyal customer many, many years. Vanilla was my go-to, the absolute best, most creamy commercial ice cream I have ever had. Today I opened a carton of vanilla and remembered why I have been getting Breyers (yes, Breyers) for the past year. I had hoped that the old formula had been brought back. Will be throwing the rest of the carton out and going for Breyers (costs less too). This is how you lose customers.

So creamy and percent flavor every time. I love that it comes in a variety of different sizes too. Sometimes I'd get a teeny tiny one to have with my lunch. Hits the spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Haagen-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream. The product comes in a 14 ounce container, and I like how the product had a seal on the ice cream. The size was perfect to share, and I like how the carton is recyclable. The ice cream had a good over all vanilla taste, and tasted good on it's own. I do however, think that the ice cream could have been more creamy. It seemed to lack a little of that creaminess that I come to expect when it comes to ice cream. The ice cream would also be great when used in dessert creations, or by adding a few toppings.

This ice cream is the real deal as I would expect from this brand and I have to say not all ice creams are created equal. To me since it is on the pricer side compare with other brand s for the amount you get, I count it as a special treat every now and then. This ice cream has the right creaminess, texture, sweetness and flavor that you want in your ice cream It is so good that sometime I don't want to share (it is ok to be a bit selfish some times :) ). I highly recommend it if you love vanilla and want an authentic vanilla taste.

I used to love the old vanilla recipe. It was creamy and dense and far superior to any other company's vanilla formula. Your recent changes have made it icier, less rich, and more like the moderate-quality vanilla ice creams that are widely available from other companies. PLEASE bring back the old recipe, or at least make both the old and new recipes available for those of us who yearn for the bygone era when your vanilla was the top choice by a wide margin. I'm very discouraged by your company's decision to monkey with a time-tested formula that had separated you from the rest of the crowd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Haagen-Daz. I typically am a chocolate fan, but occasionally I need some vanilla to eat with pies or cake. I used Haagen-Daz vanilla this time and loved it. Next time, I may not need pies or cake to get some vanilla.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a while to find Haagen-Dazs Vanilla; both my go-to stores have been out of vanilla for over a week, but I finally found it yesterday morning (7/1) and fixed my wife and I cones for a TV treat last night. Vanilla is my favorite ice cream flavor, but Haagen-Dazs is several steps above. Absolutely smooth and creamy, but with a taste that is above the rest! Try it and you will love it!
