[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed when I scooped this ice cream out of the container was how smooth the scoop looked. A lot of ice cream when you scoop it out the surface looks kinda rough but this scooped out perfectly smooth , so I knew I was in for a treat. Tasting it you could taste the real vanilla flavor was just perfect. any stronger and it would have been a vanilla bean taste. This was perfect. And the creaminess of it was awesome . It was smooth in your mouth and just melted in your mouth to a delicious creamy treat. My only complaint is the size of the container is only 14 ounces and not a full pint. So if you want a true vanilla ice cream made with quality products , I highly recommend this .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never buy Haagen dazs because their flavors are limited. For the price you don't get much, but what you get is a higher quality than cheaper brands. Less air and creamier than the rest. Vanilla is a favorite flavor and this doesn't disappoint.

I've put this off for a while. Bought a quart size of the vanilla ice cream for a special occasion (pairing with a chocolate cake), and everyone commented on the ice cream tasting different. More like frozen milk than the creamy Haagen Dazs we all knew. Just had one of the ice cream bars tonight and it just seems like a lower quality product than the past. The ice cream strangely seems to dissolve into pellets in the mouth rather than melting as any ice cream normally melts. Ive been reading some of the reviews here and keep seeing the company rep commenting "rest assured we have not changed our recipe," but a quick bit of investigating will reveal that the recipe was altered in 2017. The same 5 ingredients are used, so they say, but the recipe was changed. What triggered this change is a mystery.

Ever since it's been my only brand I get, I've tried other flavors like Carmel and coffee. Coffee is my new favorite but it's always sold out in my store, so I stock up on a few when I see them. Definitely worth the try!

Haagen-Dazs makes great ice cream that is creamy and enjoyable. I do not like ice cream that is "icy". This product was wonderful.

I like how creamy this ice cream is, and it has the perfect amount of vanilla. It feels homemade to me. It' also perfect for topping off your freshly baked goods.
