Whereas before it was wonderfully creamy to the point of being chewy, it is now icy and way too sweet. The vanilla flavoring is no longer Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, either. I've had to switch brands after 27 loyal years. Thanks, Nestle, for ruining a great thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a Texan means I tend to use another brand that's pretty popular here, but trying this vanilla has been quite a delicious treat. The consistency is creamy and smooth without being over-powering with the vanilla.

This used to be the best icecream .. No more .. What have you done? The flavour is not what it used to be. It´s now more or less the same as every other brand. I make better icecream at home. SOmething totally off with the flavour ... I dont know how you changed the receipie, but you lost a big fan. Might as well buy Ben & Jerrys or some other standard “premium” icecream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate when I get cheap ice cream that bends the spoon trying to get it out. This was one of the best vanilla ice creams I've had and I didn't have to bend the spoon to get it out of the container. I'm trying root beer float with it tomorrow.

I thought my freezer wasn't working, but its like the ice cream is kind of semi melted and won't freeze. Its almost like eating whipped cream...it just confuses me. I preferred the dense, rich recipe. Am I going crazy? What happend to the old recipe?

I have tried numerous different brands of icecream and let me say Haagen Daazs is one of the best ice creams out there. They use quality ingredients. Their Vanilla ice cream is out of this world! We love it by itself, in a root beer float, on top of our favorite fruit, and sundae style. Recently, it has been our favorite base for making milkshakes. I also love that this product has only five real food ingredients so I know exactly what I am feeding my family.
