Definitely feels like a high quality ice cream and thought that it was really cool that I could list the ingredients on one hand and could tell what they were. At my food lion there was only the one size and would like to see more variety.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a big vanilla ice cream person, but I've been a Haagen-Dazs person since I started eating ice cream in 1983. I recently saw a link in an email from H-D to try the new version of Vanilla, so I gave it a shot. It's just perfect. The only thing I think could make it better is just a tiny bit of salt. I used to put salt on H-D Butter Pecan, and it made it my favorite ice cream for years. My current favorite is Triple Chocolate Fudge Cookie. I wish Haagen-Dazs would bring back Pralines & Cream.

This vanilla flavored ice cream is rich in flavor, has a beautiful white color and the texture is smooth. If you are a fan of Vanilla I highly recommend this brand. It does not taste like anything was scrimped in making this flavor. Very tasty!

It tasted the best with some chocolate and caramel. I will be purchasing other flavors from this brand for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as vanilla ice creams go this one was pretty good. Obviously the 4oz containers are never enough. Its like a small tease. "Here have some icecream, oh wait im all gone now" it was still very yummy.

Vanilla is my favorite flavor, but I went on a diet for a little while. When I saw Haagen Dazs vanilla in the ice cream aisle, I couldn't help myself and splurged. I am extremely disappointed! It does not taste the same at all. Haagen Dazs ice cream used to be the best, regardless of the flavor. but now it tastes like milky unflavored water. The vanilla taste that I used to love so much is barely there. I can no longer justify the price of this ice cream. On to my next favorite ice cream brand.
