It tastes natural and light with authentic vanilla flavor. This is what I've cream is supposed to taste like. It is the closest to homemade you can find at the grocery store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Haagen-Daz 14 oz vanilla ice cream. The ice cream had a very creamy smooth texture . First time I have eaten this brand ice cream. Next time I will have to buy a bigger container.

I've been eating Haagen-Dazs vanilla with my dad for the last 30 years. Wow, feels weird to realize you've been loyal to a brand for that long! Anyway, what happened? The entire family agrees there is little discernible difference in flavor, but the carton is way lighter, and it's easy to put a spoon in, even after hours in the freezer at home. Our only guess is that the ice cream has been aerated. Haagen-Dazs was always ultra-premium and rich - we used to bend spoons all the time trying to get the ice cream out. What is this stuff? Pretty sure the same goes for chocolate. This was with the 60th birthday packaging. I think you may have lost our family. We're going to start trying all the other competitors that have entered the market.

I mean really, how can one vanilla taste any different than another? Boy was I wrong, this vanilla ice cream is so creamy and packed with flavor. I love it. It's going to be my own little indulgence, hidden in the back of the freezer, in the bag of peas.

Great vanilla taste. You spend a little more than traditional ice cream but well worth the money for quality.
