[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There really just isn't much to this vanilla. The texture wasn't as creamy as other ice creams and the flavor was pretty muted. I could see this pairing with something where you didn't want to vanilla flavor to overpower what you're combining it with, but on its own it doesn't do much for me.

After fond memories of this a few years ago, I decided to buy a few tubs last week, after recommending it to my father who needs to gain weight after an operation. He wasn't keen and I couldn't believe it. However, I've just sat through a small bowl and wouldn't recommend it to my dog. Awful, synthetic aftertaste and none of the quality flavour that I remember.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can't go wrong with Haagen-Dazs. This vanilla has such a rich, smooth flavor. The vanilla tastes so pure. I always get this for special occasions or when you need that perfect scope to go with pie. It is always a treat.

I picked up a pint from my store and kept it in my freezer for a few weeks until I was ready to open it. I took the pint out of the freezer and immediately opened it to the strangest thing: the entire pint was completely liquid except for a weird crusty foam on top. It was cold soup, not ice cream. I felt like my ice cream was gaslighting me because I've never taken ice cream out of a freezer where it has been stored only to find that it is melted. Seriously. I feel like no one will even believe me because it's such a bizarre circumstance. I threw the pint out because I wasn't even sure if it was safe, but if it wasn't going to be in a ice cream form anyways...I don't know how I would have eaten it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Haagen-Dazs Vanilla ice cream it has such a smooth texture which makes it so easy to scoop out of the container and the vanilla taste like true vanilla , I will not ever settle for anything but this ice cream it was that good.. I love that it has only 5 ingredients and all that you can understand and know what they are..

This ice cream was so good really taste like vanilla very creamy i love it. I even had to hide in my bathroom to eat it so my kids wouldnt see because they wouldve ate it all.

Why did you tamper with what was the best vanilla ice cream ever created?????? The “new” vanilla is a flabby, pale, uninspiring version of what truly was the only vanilla ice cream I ever bought! You lost me as a devoted fan and customer - I'm on the hunt for a better vanilla, Hello Ben and Jerrys?
