Customer reviews for Wagner Flexio 3000 HVLP Handheld Paint Sprayer forProfessional results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Flexio 3000 to not only spray semi transparent stain onto my cedar fence but also latex paint onto my basement block wall. with the flexibility of this sprayer it makes it easy to dial in the correct settings no matter the thickness of the medium you're spraying on with professional results. Spraying stain on the fence made it a snap to get complete coverage even between the fence panels. The stain went on smooth and without runs and splatter. I achieved similar results spraying on latex paint on the basement wall. Paint went on smooth and without runs and splattering. The unit disassembles easily for clean up and the paint/stain came off with little effort. Spraying the fence and the block wall was an incredible time saver and I was highly satisfied with my results. My only criticism of the tool is that holding the self contained powerhead combined with a full spray container of latex paint can become a little tiring on on your arm after a bit and may be cumbersome if working above ground on a ladder. Also be sure to follow instruction use tarps to protect against over spray whether inside or out. This is a great tool for the money and you can get professional results.
I like this painter better then I like my 590
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3000 has more adjustment then my current 590 I have now. I like having all the adjustment that are on the flexio 3000. It does as good of a job , if not better in my opinion then my current flexio 590.
FLEXIO 3000
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do wood working as a hobby, and my wife requested a bench for our mud room entrance. The base of the bench is made from 4 in x 4 in, and 1 in x 4 in reclaimed barn wood. The seat is made from reclaimed 3/4 inch oak flooring. I used the FLEXIO 3000 to apply three coats of a clear base coat sanding sealer, followed by three top coats of a gloss polyurethane. I am pretty much a beginner with using a sprayer when applying finish coats for furniture. So I am quite pleased with the end results that I achieved. I ran into some splatter when I first started, but adjusting the material flow and air power took care of things. Also, I think that wiping the nozzle head frequently with a damp cloth helped as well. I also used the FLEXIO 3000 to apply a white Latex paint primer coat on two old base bathroom cabinets that I was converting into storage for my workroom. Splatter was again an issue, but I was able to keep it to a minimum. The end result was fine. I used a brushed applied enamel final coat. THE PRO's for the FLEXIO 3000 that I liked: 1. carrying case 2. directions clearly written. The SETTINGS GUIDE chart on page 8 is a good starting point. 3. I really like the user indicators on the unit itself. 4. the Spray Width Lever is really useful. 5. extra air filters and grease for the rubber o-rings are nice. The only two issues that I have are: 1. clean-up took me a little longer than suggested in the manual. 2. the unit is a little heavy. 1.5 cups of paint will add to the over all weight. I have a large wooden patio deck that needs painted, and I was not looking forward to doing this with a brush or roller. The FLEXIO 3000, I think, will make this task a whole lot easier.
Easy to Use
First time using a paint sprayer. The Flexio was very easy to setup and start using. Easy to follow instructions. Painted very well, nice even coat. Clean-up is easier than expected. Should have gotten one sooner. Recommend if you are in the market for a paint sprayer. Can't go wrong. Price was good too.
The easiest power painter ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used a lot of power painting sprayers, even the professional ones that you rent. This by far was the easiest one ever! I loved all the different attachments to make the jobs quick . The preparation has always been hard in the past, but with the detail nozzle I was able to trim with only some painter's tape and got the best results. I've painted my bathroom, outdoor fence, accent wall, and working on the kitchen cabinets next. Honestly this is a great value for how efficient it works. I even cleaned all the parts in the kitchen sink. I never do that. The cleanup was very easy.
My first paint sprayer, and it's a good one.
I had a couple jobs planned for my house, including touching up a bedroom with existing good paint (scratched and blemished from recalcitrant Command adhesive strips), and later my old kitchen cabinets. I have always used rollers and brushes but I wanted to try a sprayer because I've heard the results are good. It took longer to mask off the room than it did to paint - seriously took maybe half an hour to paint the whole works. I was really happy with the way I was able to blend in the torn topcoat where the adhesive ripped off the old paint - I don't think I could do that with a roller and get the same result. One thing I didn't expect was the volume of air this tool puts out. It's a LOT OF AIR! I had not masked the floor well enough and the light-duty plastic sheet fluttered until I weighed it down. Definitely going to tape that down next job. For cleaning - it was a pleasantly simple process that didn't leave my fingers coated in paint. Hooray! Disassembly was easy and since I used a latex paint, I washed the parts out in my basement laundry sink after spraying out a container's worth of water. It probably took me the same amount of work to clean this sprayer as it would take me to clean my brushes so I count that as a win. I'm looking forward to using it on the cabinets next. I didn't use the small container yet since I'm doing larger jobs but I may use it in the spring/summer outside for some outdoor work. I definitely think it has enough power to do work outside. Lastly, the storage case that the sprayer comes with isn't one of the crummy ones that's going to fall apart. It holds the sprayer and accessories reasonably compact and I had no trouble storing it.
Very Impressive Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The included carrying case, as with any tool, is always welcomed. The insert divider to the case is flimsy and will not hold up. unless it is intended for shipping only. Even so, it arrived with a six inch long crack through it. However, everything will still fit inside, albeit left to rattle around. There is a full compliment of accessories for any spray task, and maintenance items so you don't have to go hunting around for things such as a tiny orifice brush or lube. The rubberized grip is a nice and useful addition. The trigger reach is a bit long for smaller hands, but comfortable to hold when pulled back while spraying. The powerful sound of the turbo fan and motor is an experience to be heard - it really sounds like a true meticulously engineered piece of rotating equipment. The device looks a bit awkward, but is necessary for a motor, turbo fan, trigger, paint container, and spray head all arranged linearly. However, it is very well balanced, can be held with one hand, and does not produce fatigue from use. The power cord is clearly positioned to allow the unit to sit upright when placed down, with bottom surfaces all on one plane. This consideration is something rarely if ever thought of in a corded power tool. However, the power cord itself is the stiff inflexible vinyl jacketed kind that never wants to stay where you put it. The locking tab that holds the paint cups in place looks like the first thing that might break off. However, the plastic used here, as well as throughout, feels tough and flexible enough for the job, and is thoughtfully replaceable with a single screw should the need arise. Overall, the impressive degree of thought put into the sprayer exterior is evident, but would be a waste of time and effort if it did not perform. And boy, does it ever perform! What a great sprayer! I have neither experienced drips from the nozzle, nor runs on the painting surface, The spray pattern, air volume, and paint amount are all easily controlled on the fly to give you the coverage you want. Control of where you spray is excellent. I get the impression that this tool is like a super air-brush, as control of where you want paint or other finish is fine indeed. You get great even coverage if you keep it moving and stay the recommended distance away while painting. Clean up is easy, as the plastic internal spray head components do not allow paint to stick very well as opposed to metallic spray guns that have an affinity for paint to cake up. This sprayer has become my go-to paint applicator for both large and small household and craft painting jobs, replacing my air compressor, length of air-hose, and leaky spray gun. I am so glad to own one.
Great easy to use sprayer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still new but so far so good. I am doing a major inside painting/rehab project. I have acoustic, rough, ceilings and plan to use the painter to greatly simplify the job. New bathroom is the current task. Stay tuned!
Super product
I bought this to paint my double door garage from white to chocolate brown, plus two black rockers to a sunshine orange that are used by my shed that has an overhang. Found that the biggest issue was just getting the items prepped and ready to paint as you would expect regardless. Overall the paint process with my new FLEXiO 3000 was easy, easy, easy. Cleanup was the same...no issues at all and was quickly completed thank goodness. Did not think to take before and after pics, but have received compliments on both the garage door and the chairs on how great and professional everything looked. Next spring I am going to tackle my good sized double deck and expect to look super good. Just have not decided yet if I will paint or stain. Do yourself a favor, get one of these super great sprayers and you will be glad you did.
I'm Impressed
I was never a big fan of spray painting. But I had a large job to get done and thought I would give this sprayer a try. Planned on selling the sprayer when the job was done, but I'm so impressed with it I'll be keeping it. Awesome tool and time saver to have on hand.
