This is my first time trying anything from Uncle Ben’s other than their plain rice, and this did not disappoint. The package may not look like much but it turns out to be a nice serving size for a meal on the go. There is a nice medley of rice, beans, peppers and corn which are full of flavor - there actually is a bit of kick to it which is a pleasant surprise if you like spicy food. My only criticism is that I found the meal to be a little bit dry, but that’s not completely unexpected for a prepackaged meal like this. I added a bit of salsa which solved that. I would definitely buy these to have on hand, especially to take for lunch at work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flavorful and delicious. Uncle Ben’s did and excellent job dialing in the flavors. This bowl is PACKED with flavors. Easy to follow directions, simply remove from box, peel back the corner of the plastic and cook for 90 seconds, let cool and enjoy. Simple. While the flavors were spot on, execution of the meal itself wasn’t. VERY dry. 99% rice, the rest was black bean and corn with all the seasonings. This definitely needed some help. Add cheese, sour cream, or salsa to rejuvenate this meal. All in all, it wasn’t terrible and I would eat this again. I would be interested in trying a different recipe, something with less carbs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So so delish. I loved the bowl and love spice and there was a tiny bit of spice in it so i loved it. Super easy to make and was really filling honestly. Also a delicious gluten free option (thank god!!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to try from Influenster. I like that it’s easy to take and heat up, simple enough. The rice and bean burrito bowl is that, after you heat it up, becareful- the steam will get you for sure but it kind of smells like a fart and body funk. I wasn’t too thrilled about that, but because I took the gamble of taking it for my lunch at work- I had no choice. It actually didn’t taste too bad, I think it needs salsa or cheese or both but it didn’t taste bad, like taco/southwest seasoned beans and rice and like 4 cornels of corn. Would I buy it? Honestly that is a double edged sword, it smells so if you aren’t eating it at home, no but if you only eat at home for work, then yes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meh. This has a flavor of hot and nothing else. We added chicken stock to it to try and help bring in some flavor and it barely saved it. Just super spicy. It is easy to make and filling for the price. I won't be buying in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love uncle Ben’s microwavable rice bags so I thought this would be good as well, boy was I wrong. First let’s start with what’s good about it, excellent packaging nice and colorful entices you in. Only 90 sec to microwave kinda what you expect and what uncle Ben’s is known for, taste was ok just something was off with the texture. Now the bad, food was dry to the point the rice wouldn’t fully cook and was hard, beans were dry and every bite I took it felt like I was taking a shot of oil, it was like a BP oil spill that coated my mouth after three bites I just tossed it. Disappointed I wanted to like it so bad I’ll just stick to uncle Ben’s Spanish rice and add some fresh vegetables to it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice was very flavorful! I liked the various ingredients- beans, corn, bell peppers, poblano peppers, etc. It wasn’t too salty and filled me up. The packaging does a great job listing the benefits (protein and fiber).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really had no flavor at all. It is a good amount of food for a nice easy meal, but it just lacks any flavor. It was also very dry I had to keep taking a drink because it felt like it was scratching my throat.

I added avocado and fresh tomato after hearting it up and it was delicious! Make it a burrito add cheese and make it a nacho/dip or eat it from the bowl
