[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest these ready to go microwave rice meals aren’t really my thing, but this was actually pretty good. It tastes a lot like the other Ben’s rice recipes, super flavorful, & a decent texture. It’s SUPER easy to make which is helpful when you don’t feel like cooking a big meal. I’d like to try out other flavors of this next time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flavorful and delicious. Uncle Ben’s did and excellent job dialing in the flavors. This bowl is PACKED with flavors. Easy to follow directions, simply remove from box, peel back the corner of the plastic and cook for 90 seconds, let cool and enjoy. Simple. While the flavors were spot on, execution of the meal itself wasn’t. VERY dry. 99% rice, the rest was black bean and corn with all the seasonings. This definitely needed some help. Add cheese, sour cream, or salsa to rejuvenate this meal. All in all, it wasn’t terrible and I would eat this again. I would be interested in trying a different recipe, something with less carbs.

It had a great flavor, I think it would be amazing to add some ground beef if you had more time to do an "elaborated" plate. It was what you would expect some rice with bean but packed with flavor

Quick and easy meals are a must and I was excited to try this as it is right up my alley! I am also vegetarian, so easy ways to get some veggie protein are great. This bowl had great flavor and was very satisfying. I also love how easy it is to customize the bowl. I ended up adding a little cheddar cheese and salsa and that was so good! I imagine wrapping this up in a tortilla would be excellent too! I highly recommend this product and will for sure be buying more in future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried several different brands of the microwavable rice before, and I have always been disappointed. They’re rubbery, dry, and lack flavor. I really wasn’t expecting too much difference with this one to be honest. But, I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t know if it’s because this comes in a bowl rather than a plastic package like the other ones, or if they’ve just got something figured out, but this is, the most similar to stove top rice I have tried in microwavable versions. The texture is good, it’s not dry, and it has some actual flavor to it. I’m excited to try different kinds of the same brand, different flavors. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised!

I really enjoyed this burrito bowl because the beans were super yummy, and it was very simple to make. The packaging is perfect to eat out of a well. Following the directions, I peeled back the film in one corner and microwaved for 90 seconds, then let it sit for a minute before stirring. The film was initially difficult to peel back but eventually opened. Preparation was simple—just pop it in the microwave. I could see the veggies and rice clearly, and mixing them together was easy. The ingredients are super clear and easy to read, making it feel like a clean choice meal without a bunch of crazy chemical additives. Taste-wise, it's decent but could be improved. The rice and veggies (beans, corn, and peppers) are present, but it lacks flavor, needing more salt and spice. Some hot sauce would enhance it. Halfway through, I felt it needed more substance, like meat, but I appreciate the option of a vegetarian bowl. The texture, however, is excellent. The veggies are cooked and soft with a bit of bite, and the rice is well-cooked, soft, and not mushy or hard. The portion size is also great. With a side dish, this could be a superb meal. On its own, the rice and beans can get monotonous, but it's definitely filling.

For only 380 calories this bowl is very filling! I’m very surprised at how much food comes in this bowl. The single use bowl makes it easy for bringing lunch to work or to a hotel. Yummy quick and easy meal.
