Deep blacks, bright highlights, and smooth motion make movies and games look incredible. Once it arrived, setup was quick and the interface is easy to navigate. The TV arrived safely, and overall, I’m very happy with the product. The C5 is an excellent OLED TV and performs exactly how I hoped.

Pros: 1. Display is very sharp and colors pop out. 2. Light weight and easy to install. So far loving it. Cons: 1. Wall mount option Angie did not come thru' for me. Using the TV stand instead. 2. Volume goes up during ads. No mute button on Magic Remote - we have to bring down the volume to "0" for a mute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV a couple days before Halloween 2025. I had a 55 inch OLED TV from LG. It was the best TV I’ve ever owned. So when it came time to upgrade, I carefully weighed my options. I wanted a bigger TV, but I also wanted it to still be thin and light and have the best picture quality. So naturally another larger OLED from LG was the best and really the only option. 77 inches was where I ended up anything larger than the price starts to get atmospheric. I was originally going to get the B5 model and had been mulling it over for the last nine months or so. Finally, this deal appeared on one of my websites for this year‘s model C5. So not only was it an upgrade from the B5, but it was also this year‘s model. I immediately jumped once I found out it came with an extra sound bar and wall mount. Let me tell you this TV is gorgeous. Silky blacks with outstanding colors and brightness. The Evo panel means you’re getting better brightness than a normal OLED TV. Color accuracy is almost perfect. 120 Hz standard refresh rate is great for any in all TV viewing. 144 Hz refresh rate is perfect for games I play on my PS5 Pro. Especially FPS for every little bit of movement in the distance can be seen when you have a higher refresh rate. It’s almost an unfair advantage when gaming online if you have a better larger tv. And this is simply one of the best for that if not the best. I’m thrilled with this purchase. My last two TVs have been by LG, and I’ve had absolutely no issues. I assume my experience will be the same with this TV.

Gaming on it is really good with low input lag, all the HDMI 2.1 features, and a picture that makes games look like they were made for this screen. The built-in webOS still has its little quirks, but it’s quick and easy to bounce between apps. For a TV this big, the sound is better than expected, though most people will still want a soundbar. Overall, the 77” LG C5 OLED is one of those TVs that makes everything you watch feel premium. It’s not cheap, but once you see it in action, it’s hard to go back.

The design is sleek with thin bezels, and it looks premium in the living room. The smart system is easy to use, fast, and supports Alexa, Google Assistant, and AirPlay. Streaming apps work smoothly. The sound is decent and Dolby Atmos adds some depth, but for a true theater feel, you’ll need a soundbar. Overall, the TV has amazing picture quality, great gaming features, and a stylish design. The downsides are the high price, average sound, and no DTS support. If you want one of the best TVs for movies and gaming, this is worth it—just plan for extra audio equipment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 5 year old budget 65". What can I say? Wow. The 77" OLED looks amazing. So much thinner and sleeker than my old TV. Color and brightness is light years beyond what I had. Viewing from 11 feet away is perfect. Movies and shows feel immersive. Horror movie jump scares actually make me jump now. Motorcycle racing looks incredible. The C5 can handle the high speed action with ease. This new TV is also used for PS5 gaming and it looks amazing. Not even close to the LED. Games I previously played look and feel completely different. High refresh rate and the colors really change and enhance the gaming experience. WebOS is fine and user friendly. I'm not so sure about the remote yet. Overall, 10/10 would recommend this upgrade if you're coming from an older TV. OLED, this is the way.
