I was expecting a difference coming from a high-end QLED, but the leap to true OLED is incredible. The C5 lives up to the hype—it's the best TV I've ever owned.

Scenes with pitch black do not have any backlight glow. The TV is bright, colors are vivid, and the contrast is excellent . . . 5 Stars!!!!

The picture quality is just super clean and natural, with deep blacks and realistic colors without oversaturation. Out of the box it already looked good, and after a bit of tweaking it's become amazing for everything — movies, shows, sports, all of it just looks perfect and the size makes it feel pretty cinematic at home. For gaming, though, it really shines. Input lag feels very low, and once Game Mode is on, everything just responds instantly on PS5/PC. 4K at high refresh rates, VRR, and those HDMI 2.1 ports make it easy to plug in multiple devices and not think about it again. HDR games look great too — bright highlights, detailed dark areas, and no weird smearing or ghosting in fast scenes. If you're into gaming and also want something that's just solid for everyday watching, this has been a amazing upgrade.

After a month with the 77-inch LG C5, it's become my do-it-all champ. **Picture: Perfect. Inky blacks make night games and dark shows look incredible, colors are rich but never cartoonish, and motion is buttery smooth, whether it's a fast Premier League match or a 120 fps shooter. HDR movies (Dolby Vision) look stunning, and even regular cable looks sharper than it has any right to. **Gaming: It is ridiculously good, 4K/120 Hz, VRR, ALLM, and almost zero lag. I went from “pretty good” to “I can actually compete online” the day I plugged in the PS5. **Sound: This was the surprise. The built-in 40 W speakers with AI Sound Pro are crisp, voices are crystal-clear (no more subtitles for British shows!), and there's decent bass for explosions and stadium crowds. It's easily the best TV audio I've ever had out of the box. The 83-inch size is perfect for my family room, which gets a lot of natural light from 4 windows. I was concerned about brightness, but this OLED is more than bright enough—colors pop, blacks are deep, and contrast is fantastic. Plus, the TV is surprisingly slim for its size, which gives it a sleek, modern look that fits well with my decor. Gaming is a huge upgrade too. The HDMI 2.1 and 120Hz refresh rate make my PS5 experience smooth with no lag. Streaming content looks amazing with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. The interface is fast, and the Magic Remote is super easy to use. While it's decent for everyday use, I can tell that a soundbar would really take things to the next level. Overall, I'm really happy with this TV. It's a big step up from my previous model, and the picture quality is stunning. I'm giving it 4.8 out of 5—just a small dip in sound stops it from being perfect.

Upgrade from my 65" OLED C9. My 4th LG OLED going back to a much earlier curved screen and no regrets with my purchase of any one of them. With modern OLED TVs, the quality is so good the improvements become miniscule from yr to yr, but even so and as good as my 65" C9 is, this is noticeably better in picture clarity. Most noticeably on upscaling on normal TV viewing, but not limited to just test. Just an overall better picture. With the deals available now i would highly recommend this unit.

Pros: 1. Display is very sharp and colors pop out. 2. Light weight and easy to install. So far loving it. Cons: 1. Wall mount option Angie did not come thru' for me. Using the TV stand instead. 2. Volume goes up during ads. No mute button on Magic Remote - we have to bring down the volume to "0" for a mute.
