My boyfriend loved this cooler. After 10 years the first one broke at the top. He bought a different kind of cooler with a pull handle to replace it and he hated it. So for one of his Xmas presents I bought him this old standard and filled it with goodies to replace his old broken one. He loves it.

I purchased my 7 quart cooler in 1973 when I started driving trucks. It has seen lots of use and abuse over its life time. It has always kept things cold no matter the time of year. During the winter months it keeps my drinks from freezing and in the heat of the summer it keeps things cold. After all these years it's a little worse for wear, but still does it's job. My wife tried to get me to replace it several times over the years, but I always went back to my trusted red and white cooler.

Great quality from a great company. Why buy one of those high price overrated imports when you have USA made Igloo who's giving profits to a good cause.

Had one that broke, it must have been a better model because this one dosen't have a flat bottom and has sharp edges. Should have know better, it's only $19 but still...

I would recommend this to anyone needing a large lunch box or day-trip cooler. The only thing that would make this better would be if a tray were included to separate the food from drinks and cold packs.

We have had one for over 20 years and it needed to be replaced. This new one is the style we have come to love and enjoy, and I am glad we were able to find an updated cooler.

Exactly what I expected, no surprises. A bit shocked they didn't carry the playmate in my local store but price was reasonable and shipping was quick and painless.
