This is my first OLED tv and I am surprised by how bright it gets since it's not an led. The only reason I won't give it 5 stars is because the operating system is a little clunky. Overall Im happy with my purchase and would recommend.

The blacks are true and the contrast amazing. Also I've accidentally left things on the screen for days and haven't had any burn in, to the point that I wonder if it's a myth. Just incredible tvs all around.

The picture quality is absolutely stunning with deep blacks, crisp detail, and brightness that finally feels strong enough for daytime viewing without washing out. HDR movies look incredible, and gaming is buttery smooth with virtually zero input lag. What surprised me most is how balanced it is. Great motion handling for sports, excellent upscaling for lower-resolution content, and the new panel really does improve reflections compared to past generations. The size upgrade to 77" completely changes the experience and it feels cinematic without overwhelming the room. Setup was quick, the interface is responsive, and all of my devices synced without any weird quirks or lag. If you're on the fence about stepping up to a large OLED or moving to this year's LG lineup, this is easily the best purchase I've made in a long time. It genuinely feels like a “replace all other screens” type of TV. Highly recommend.

But once it is turned on the picture is unbelievable - crisp, bright with vivid colors that makes watching anything a joy; sporting events feel like you are there. I already had a 65” LG OLED C9 that performed beautifully but the 83” C5 is even better.

The AI features help so anyone can get a good picture and sound without having to calibrate. It has enough hdmi ports to allow you you to be able to add a number of devices.

Once I got it, it was easy to setup and I had my gaming systems playing at 4K 120 fps in no time. The quality was phenomenal with deep blacks and you had a great view from every angle I sat. But LG made it possible, with their reasonable rates , and today I finally own a new tv after so many years that too an OLED.. and my god the quality is mind bending. I got the TV delivered around the time IT WELCOME TO DERRY got released, and I am watchinh these episodes on my new tv now.. and I have no words.. it is soooooo good. Thanks LG for creating such a wonderful TV.. i can see my C5 being in my home for years now😀
