This tv is used for Netflix/streaming predominately in a brightly lit room with windows. The color and quality of the image is astonishing. Such an upgrade.

The sound is not bad either major improvement over regular tvs. And the inky blacks really make the oled great.vivid colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: It's an amazing looking TV. This is my 3rd LG OLED and they never let me down when it comes to picture quality. It's just stunning. The 83 inch was a lot lighter than I thought it would be, so that was a plus when mounting it to the wall. Cons: The remote is 2/5. They are going with a minimalist approach, pushing AI and ThinQ for your interactions with the TV. Please LG, if your going to go minimalist on the remote, include a play and pause button. The wheel button has been problematic to start and stop play in some streaming applications (Paramount+ comes to mind). I don't need dedicated streaming service buttons. What I really miss is a play, pause, and mute button. The holding down the volume to mute is just annoying and not intuitive. The bloatware and advertisements on the WebOS has been getting more and more invasive. LG does a decent job of letting you disable a lot of the advertisements, but I wish I could remove the apps that come preinstalled. The AI features are not impressive so far. I haven't found any of it useful, yet. Conclusion: Overall, I love the TV even with the regression in the new remote design and WebOS drawbacks.

I was expecting the OLED to cause reflection problems during the daytime, but the brightness beats it; I barely notice any reflections. The sound quality is incredible, and it's my go-to screen for sports!

The 77" screen completely changes movie nights – blacks are truly black, colors are rich without looking fake, and HDR content really pops. The newer OLED evo panel with Brightness Booster / “Bright Room Ready” holds up surprisingly well in my bright living room, which was my biggest concern going in. For gaming, this TV is a beast: 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, support for up to 4K/144Hz with VRR and ALLM, and super low input lag. My PS5/PC games look incredibly smooth, and the TV automatically switches into the right game mode. webOS is snappy, apps like Netflix/Disney+/Prime are built in, and the new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor keeps everything feeling fast while also doing excellent upscaling on 1080p content. Pros: Incredible contrast and black levels Bright enough for a room with windows Fantastic for gaming (4x HDMI 2.1, VRR up to 144Hz, ALLM) Dolby Vision + Dolby Atmos support for movies Very thin, premium-looking design

The perfect blacks create an incredible sense of depth—dark scenes look truly cinematic, with no blooming or washed-out shadows. Pair that with LG’s vibrant color reproduction and razor-sharp 4K clarity, and you get a picture that feels almost lifelike. As a gamer, the high refresh rate is a huge highlight. Motion is ultra-smooth, even in fast-paced action scenes or competitive games, and the inclusion of NVIDIA G-Sync makes a massive difference. There’s virtually no screen tearing, input lag is minimal, and the responsiveness is fantastic. Whether I'm playing visually rich single-player titles or fast shooters, the experience feels buttery and immersive. One thing I didn’t expect was how well this OLED performs in bright rooms. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from my 7 year old LG OLED. I went from 65" B7A to a 77" C5. The difference is already apparent. The original is still a great set and is moving to the living room. But the increased size in my home theater setup is amazing. It's also much brighter, especially with HDR and Dolby Vision content. Upscaling from lower def content is also much more refined. All in all a great set. If I had one complaint it would be the new design magic remote. So far I'm not a fan. Clumsy layout to use, no mute button, and doesn't fit in my hand near as well. But this is a small issue as I don't use the remote day to day. Highly recommended.
