HDR is fantastic...bright highlights really pop without overwhelming the rest of the image, and scenes like a torch being carried on a dark night look almost lifelike, with the flame glowing against truly inky darkness. The brightness is perfect for my room and the 77" size is big, immersive, cinematic, and I’m absolutely loving this TV.

The OLED screen is so crisp even watching a movie at home is a theatre-like experience. I think the TV is good luck, longhorns and Texans won first time watching on new TV! The only knock I have is the controller you have to aim to toggle around the screen (can makes things a lot easier just requires good aim 🤣)

I first turned on antenna TV and watched some of my favorite older shows and the picture was good on all of them. Even with low quality input content the upscaled picture was nice. I even got to watch one of my favorite Christmas movies on an LG channel. I haven't touched any settings yet and I'm still getting used to the remote (I'm looking for a universal replacement to have a second option). But do far, I like the LG C5 77".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from my 7 year old LG OLED. I went from 65" B7A to a 77" C5. The difference is already apparent. The original is still a great set and is moving to the living room. But the increased size in my home theater setup is amazing. It's also much brighter, especially with HDR and Dolby Vision content. Upscaling from lower def content is also much more refined. All in all a great set. If I had one complaint it would be the new design magic remote. So far I'm not a fan. Clumsy layout to use, no mute button, and doesn't fit in my hand near as well. But this is a small issue as I don't use the remote day to day. Highly recommended.

The a9 AI Processor really does a great job upscaling older content, and webOS is fast, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Even the sound is better than I expected for built-in speakers, though I paired it with a soundbar for the full experience. Overall, this TV is a fantastic upgrade and genuinely feels premium in every way. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase — highly recommended!
