I had an old LG and it has been improved in a sound quality as well. The colors are fine details, and really bright and vibrant images. Overall as a family we really liked the features.

So many settings to tweak so you can get the levels of smoothing, de-judder, and color correction to suit your taste. Or turn on Filmmaker mode and leave the settings up to the creator of whatever you're watching! Big fans of horror movies here, so the darkness of the black pixels was a big selling point. They fully deliver on the promise; the contrast is amazing, and we're exciting to use this TV for many years to come. Only small downside is the lack of support for the Kanopy app; so many high-quality movies that we wish we had easy access to in the LG ecosystem.

Brightness has noticeably improved compared to older models, especially in HDR, so it handles daylight rooms better than past OLEDs I’ve owned. The motion handling is smooth, gaming performance is top-tier (low input lag, full HDMI 2.1 support), and the OS is fast without the annoying lag you get from some other brands. Build quality is premium, setup was simple, and so far I’ve had zero issues — same as all my previous LG OLEDs. They’ve always been reliable for me, and this TV keeps that trend going. If you’re on the fence, just get it. The C5 is the kind of upgrade you immediately notice and don’t regret.

Well packed (It's a giant box), easy enough to get mounted up on the wall, and very thin. I was pleasantly surprised by the built in webos interface for how responsive and intuitive it is to navigate with the magic remote. So far we haven't felt the need to install an external media viewer, and are going to stick with the built in app. I like the customizable picture settings with being able to tune in sharpening, upscaling, gamma, color temp etc. The brightness is more than sufficient for my fairly dark living room, and I even turned down the max brightness a little given our environment. If you're in a dark room, you really don't need the brighter models. I didn't expect much form the built-in speakers, so I paired it with an old soundbar with the intention of upgrading it later.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my 77" LG OLED C5 TV and it was a massive upgrade my from 62" LED! The color is infinitely better and the black/white contrast is amazing. In Vivid Mode, colors really pop out. I can now understand and appreciate 4K movies and videos, showing amazing details. I'm still fiddling around with the settings to get the most ideal video settings but so far I'm very impressed with everything including refresh rate and how seamlessly everything works.
