After 1 yr my rubber latches broke. Igloo does not even sell replacement latches. I have 6 igloo coolers and will not buy another one.

Would be the perfect cooler for a utv, side by side like my Polaris RZR. But the tiedowns are only on the lid. So you have to undo your straps to grab anything out. Would be better to have just on the body.

Paying the extra price for this cooler swap was worth it! This replaced a Colman cooler of about the same size. The ice would be gone in a day in the Colman cooler. In this Igloo cooler there is still ice at the end of the weekend.

Got this a little before Father’s Day. It held all the adult beverages I needed and 2 large bags of sonic ice! 4 days later it’s still holding ice!

Bought this cooler with high hopes of it keeping ice from melting for at least the day. It is advertised to keep it cool for days. Well on our recent track day, I filled the cooler up at 7am and by 9am all the ice had melted. I’m very disappointed! I figured it would be a better cooler than the competition cause it’s American made…. I’ll be returning it to by a cooler that actually works!

Bought this cooler last year for my husband for Father’s Day. It was great and kept the ice for a few days depending on how often it was opened. About 6 months in and the lid was opened and with the wind, it snapped back a little too far and the screws came out. You can’t screw them back in because the holes where they go are stripped and too large for the screws. Looking at it, the screws were less than half an inch with no additional Reinforcement. We’ve tried using it by just setting it on top but it doesn’t keep things as cool plus you have to physically remove the top and hold it because it’s connected to the bottom by a line.

I like the Trailmate 25. It is big but not bulky or too heavy like some coolers in this size range. It has a metal handle with a nice rubberized grip on it. While similar to other models Igloo offers, this cooler has a seal in the lid, improved rubber latches, drain plug, and heavy duty hinges on the back. It is made in USA which I appreciate and is very solid. Not sure how many total days it can retain ice, since I only use for weekend use. I hope this lasts me many years. Overall I would recommend this cooler . Minor issues that could be improved: 1. I would like the handle to "lock" in the upright position to reduce the cooler from swaying side to side while carrying it. 2. The notches where the rubber latches secure are hollow underneath. This allows the latches to scrape/scuff the plastic edges which could possibly wear down overtime. 3. The drain plug could be a tad lower in the cooler so it doesn't have to be tipped to drain the last remaining water. 4. I added no-skid furniture pads to the bottom to reduce scratches and scuffs and increase grip for transportation.
