After double cleansing, I apply the cream, and then I use my usual retinol cream. This gel is deeply hydrating and lasts until the morning. Overall, I love this gel and will repurchase it when I run out.

I hardly ever find a moisturizer that doesn't cause irritation or breakout. This gel is a very light moisturizer, but for some of us with problematic skin, the lighter the better. However the hyaluronic acid is the key to this product plumping up the skin. I have bought hyaIuronic acid serums before but I prefer how this feels on the skin, light without any tackiness. I always add a few drops of serum oil (dermalogica phyto replenish oil) on top after applying the gel, then I apply my sunscreen and finally my foundation. The gel helps to thin out the serum so its not so oily. This application method works beautifully. The gel has also worked great to keep my skin moisturized after an acid facial peel, without having ingredients that can infect or irritate the newly exposed skin. I have not experienced any burning or irritation, quite the opposite. I can only assume some people may be having an allergic reaction. Everyone's skin is different. However I can't live without this stuff. I finally found a product that's not heavy and doesn't cause me to break out. It really helps with hydration. I wish it did more for wrinkles but sometimes the more ingredients you use and the heavier and thicker a moisturizer becomes the more your asking for irritation and reactionary breakouts. Sometimes simple is best for sensitive acne prone skin. So I'm grateful to finally find a product I can use.

I am in love with this product! I am 47 and I pride myself on treating my skin well! I wash my face and use the product in the a.m. and before bedtime. My face typically has an oily t-zone during the warmer months. The Hydro Boost water gel has done a wonderful job of keeping my skin moisturized and shine free. I never leave home without a jar in tow! I keep it in the refrigerator and it feels so cool and refreshing after my facial. I wear it alone because I don't wear makeup! I've been using this for about a year and love it. It works on my middle age skin and equally as well on my teenage daughter without causing break-outs. We live in a very dry climate so it is a real statement to say it keeps our skin soft and moisturized. My comment is that the package uses SO much plastic! I'm certain there is a way to cut down on that waste. I'd feel better about how many we've purchased if it didn't put so much in the trash or recycle bin.

I love that with just a little bit I can moisturize my entire face & neck without leaving a sticky residue like other moisturizers. So I purchased this product because I heard such great things about it and I wasn't disappointed. It applies very easily and a little goes a long way. I have super oily skin and my skin just loves it. It does not leave any oily residue and it absorbs quickly. Doesn't leave your skin feelings rubbery or heavy either. I also love it because make up is easy to apply with it. Im very satisfied!
