I loved this for about a week, it was moisturizing and gave my skin a healthy glow. But, as I continued to use it I realized that my skin started to break out a lot then normal. The reason why I gave it four stars is because I love it but it just doesn't love me.

My only issue with it was in a larger jar, I think it is way too small. It smells amazing, it is light weight and goes on smooth.

I like this moisturizer. I always use this as skin prep before my makeup and my makeup has never came out flaky EVER! It's great and I look how it feels on the skin. Super cooling and relaxing! It's also water based which I much appreciate because a lot of my makeup is also water based.

Drenched skin in a tin! This is so great for dry and oily skinned people as well as sensitive! It's fragrance free, does not clog pores and is non-greasy. It feels very luxe, but thin and lightweight. The gel moisturizer works well alone or under makeup. You can use this with the rest of the hydro line, but it also plays well with other products and brands. Overall I would definitely recommend. Neutrogena is always a safe bet and great drugstore brand, in my experience and opinion.

However I probably would have purchased this product even if I hadn't gotten a free sample. I am a huge Neutrogena fan and have always loved their products, and this is no difference. First I love the very light and refreshing scent. It is invigorating and refreshing. The texture of the gel is light and moisture rich, almost like a non greasy serum. It goes on wet as you smooth it into your face but quickly gets absorbed, I was left with super soft and smooth skin. The benefits lasted all day and I just couldn't believe how moisturized and soft my skin felt! This is prefect anytime of year but a must for harsh winters. I really highly recommend this product and will be buying it from now on.

This product has impressed me. I have sensitive skin and eczema, and this winter has been brutal. I need intense moisture, but I am also acne prone, so I'm hesitant to try products that I'm not familiar with. After a patch test with no reaction, I decided to give this a proper try, and I couldn't be happier! In a week, my skin is moisturized, and it is SO SMOOTH. I was at a good place with my skin to start, but the texture has improved in just a week. This product has NOT caused my acne to break out and has NOT irritated my eczema, all results have been positive and I couldn't be happier. I initially thought that the price was a bit steep for a drugstore brand, but you only need to use the tiniest bit - A little goes a long way. The full jar is going to last me a long time, which actually makes the price a great value for the results. I received my t Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel for free, from Influenster, but all opinions are my own. My expectations were exceeded.

This moisturizer is really hydrating and perfect for oily skin since it's water based. It's less thick than the regular moisturizer and has a cooling feeling when you put it on. I would recommend this to those who have normal to oily skin and still want to protect that skin barrier.
