The costume is overall excellent in every way - except for the velcro used to attach the 2 straps to the wings. It is the weakest velcro I've ever seen in my life. I have bought so many of these Disney dresses from Sam's in the past few years because my niece LOVES to play dress up in them continually (she's 6). She wanted the Tinkerbell for Halloween especially for the wings and the dress and the wings were beautiful and great quality. It absolutely kills me to rate it at 2 stars, but I am doing it because the one awful thing was that for the straps that go around the child's arms - the lower ends of the straps are permanently sewn in but the top ends attach and detach with small velcro circles (see attached pictures). These small rounds of velcro just don't grip and hold at all - I finally even was pressing down as hard as I could and my niece would take one step and both straps would fly back open. I had to delay us going out for 20 minutes while I tried to figure out a solution - finally I had to go running to a neighbor's house and they rifled through drawers and cabinets and came up with a couple of safety pins. I had to really work to jab them through and fasten them because that part of the wing is very thick and I almost couldn't get them through. It was enough to barely get by for an hour of trick or treating but because the pins were stuck through the middle of each and then closed it allowed for the wings to keep shifting to the side as she walked. Yet meanwhile I also bought her the Alice in Wonderland dress just to play in and the velcro that attaches the 2 sides of the neck collar together in the back sticks so tight it's almost impossible to get those separated LOL. And she's had past dresses from this same manufacturer like a Princess Anna one where they had a cape in the back that attached on both sides with velcro and those were the same as the collar - difficult to undo the velcro because it sticks so well. I do hope the manufacturer sees this because I don't know what happened when it came to planning the wing straps - but it is definitely unacceptable. I'll be getting a needle and thread and hand sewing the top straps permanently to the wings so she can keep using them for play. That one part was not at all up to par with the quality of the rest of the outfit. If not for that - this definitely would have been a 5 star review.
