We make a trip to Sam’s once a month to stock up on various cuts of meat. It’s about a 35-40 minute drive so when the weather becomes an issue having food in the freezer is important. While there we decided to invest in a food saver to preserve our purchases, works great, easy to use and does the job zero freezer burn.

My wife and I have used this product a few times and we like it so far. We use it for fruits, vegetables and meats that we freeze.

If you’re trying to get away from other freezer bags due to cost and possible air leaks resulting in ruined food. Love the ability to section off the size you need. There is a slight learning curve on sealing the bottom of a bag cut from the roll which was a little frustrating, but after about 3 tries I mastered it. Maybe a step by step picture would help.

This Food Saver Rules! I’ve wanted one of these for the longest,But always was so costly. Glad I caught it on Sale, Really comes in handy since becoming an empty nester. Cooking for one often leaves left overs & preparing portions of the pkg at a time.

I have resisted buying one of these for so long, then got fed up with freezer burn on meat. It was so easy to set up and wrapped up the meat like magic

My original FoodSaver died. I looked it up on a few retailers and Sam's had the best price hands down!

Purchase this as a gift for my wonderful wife and the learning curve was very brief. She is very fond of it and it works better than expected.

The things I like about this vacuum sealer: it's a nice compact design that doesn't take up a lot of space for storage, it has longevity when sealing all lot of bags, and it's a lot quieter than our other sealer from FoodSaver. I was hoping it would work faster, but it still took just as long. It fits the same bags that we already had from the previous machine. It's not as intuitive as I would have liked, but there are instructions so it's easy to figure out. I just couldn't plug it in and start without consulting the directions like I wanted to. So far I think it's a good product worth the price.

This vacuum sealer works great with the non-zip bags. As long as I had the bag in the right place, it sealed on the first time every time. But the 14 piece vacuum sealer comes with a tube and cap but no (cylinder/accessory?) to seal zip bags. I called twice, and one rep said you can seal the zip bags with the tube and with or without the cap. I asked if I could speak with a manager. The rep simply said"No." I did not see how to do that. Another rep said you have to buy the extra kit.

The sealer was supposed to come as a 14 piece set but the bags were missing. I had to take the first one back because it was defective. When I contacted food saver about the missing bags they told me it was a Sam’s Club problem, not theirs, but Sam’s Club is not the one that packaged it. It was food saver so I think it was their problem.
