I tried one of the six pairs that comes on the package. At first sight, they look very well made, strong, and comfortable. After I put them on, the feel very good on the feet, and they grab your leg perfectly. The material is soft to touch, but it feels strong for use. The material on the feet is well ventilated. And, the choice of colors is very good.

Yes, trail socks live up to the hype and these seem to be good quality socks. Even though they are marked to fit up to size 12, they fit size 13 perfectly. They have washed well without shrinking. Good color range for all common pants colors. Just tight enough.

I've been buying these Eddie Bauer socks for the past two and a half years. At work I speed walk 6 to 8 miles per shift wearing these socks. They are very comfortable and durable, lasting longer than any other brands I used prior to these. A pack of six socks easily last a year before starting to wear out, usually in the heel. Pretty impressive considering how many miles I walk each week/month/year.

Socks are very warm but breathable material which is a huge plus. My husband wears them in the winter to work and has not had any complaints. They held up very well after multiple wears and washes without having any holes or rips.

These socks are warm & cozy without being too bulky. They have good stretch and don't feel too tight. They are nicely packaged if you want to give as a Christmas gift. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

These socks were a hit. They didn’t make it up to the bedroom before they were ripped open and a pair was taken out. My son immediately went for the black and gray pair. He said they stay up well, have great compression around his arch and are not sweaty like his other socks. I think I’m going to invest in more pairs. These are great hiking socks. I have only worn them on two several miles hikes and they seem to hold up good. Haven't washed them or soaked them in water to see the results. Thus, can't comment. They are one size fits all, which means they run larger if you wear a size 8.5 or smaller shoe size. So 4 stars for not having different sizes. On the other hand the price is great for quality.

The foot part of these socks is great, nice snug feel, decent padding. If your calves have muscles these socks will be tight. The color online looks off. There are 2 black, 2 dark grey, and 2 light grey pair in the package. I like the colors, but these are for skinny legs only.

The material is very soft, unfortunately when we washed these in cold water, they shrunk about three times their original size, making them too tight for my feet. I usually love Eddie Bauer clothing, but I would pass on these socks.
