It smells like gasoline. Tried to wash them multiple times. Still emits a strong smell. The plastic case does not smell at all, but tomatoes have a strong gasoline like smell. I used to like this product. always pick one up whenever I go to the store. A while ago, I got one box, and they smell like gasoline. I stopped buying them. My mom bought 1 during black friday, they still smell like gasoline. I don't understand why nobody complained about it in reviews.

These are awesome tomatoes. One of the reviews showed a yellow plastic base with the container and the Sams Club tomatoes never have that ... only a clear container so you can look the item over before purchase. I have never had a problem with these tomatoes. Always fresh and if kept in the fridge, they stay easily for 7 days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Not of fan of this brand - less flavor than the Nature's Sweet that used to be carried

Some of the tomatoes were too ripe, soft & mushy

good raw, better cooked in eggs, even better roasted and tossed into salad, or noodles with spinach

Both products are delicious
