[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really enjoying this laptop. I love the 17.3 inch screen. It’s very clear and the pixels are perfect. I’m able to actually play my Steam games on here with no lag, which is really nice. I really love those sleekness of this laptop and How do you keyboard space is literally almost the length of one of my fingers. You have plenty of space for your arms to go beside the mouse area on the laptop. I really like that. It is a touch mouse area. I really think that it was very clever to make this so sleek because it gives a modern grown-up kind of look to the laptop if that makes sense. It does come with a charger. The charger is heavy at the base so you definitely have to make sure that when you are plugging it in the plug-in in the wall is not a wiggly area but a secured plug-in area. I’m OK with that because it makes it easy to keep up with in my opinion. The cord is a nice length as well. The keyboard area is nice and asleep. When you first set up the computer, it does have three loading steps and it will probably take about an hour and a half for it to load all the way, which is fine and then I’ll restart and then you can explore everything on the computer. But while you wait for the three steps to install, you do get the screens that tell you more information about what you’re able to do on the computer, such as open games with a single touch, it gives you tools for focus, it gives you the option to discover the power of copilot on the windows, you can take a quiz about the information they give you and you can even play a game called surf the waves, which is really nice while you wait. I found it really fun. Even my kids played it while waiting on the computer to install all three steps. Overall I think this is a great starter laptop but if you’re going to be gaming or doing alot of things at once, this isn’t the laptop for that. But I give it 4/5 because it does what it’s designed to do.
Pros:
Nice size Sleek Comfortable long periods
Lengthy charger Very informative Ease of pressing keys 1 USBC port SD Slot
Cons/Dont like:
Slow when you are trying to do a lot of things at once such as checking your email watching a video.
Mouse will lag a bit
It lags a lot and it freezes up multiple times. If you are using procreate or if you’re trying to download a lot of things at once, it’s going to slow down the computer drastically. If you are trying to copy files from one folder into another file, it will freeze and then it will stop responding. So far I’ve had to control alt and delete twice . Currently the search feature is not even showing up at the bottom of the screen like it’s supposed to I don’t know what’s going on.
Overall this is a great starter laptop in my opinion. It does the basics of what you would need a laptop to do in my opinion as well. I love the size. I love this weakness and the style of this laptop. It does have a USB-C charger, which is very updated. Overall, I give it a four out of five like I stated above, but don’t think you’re gonna be playing a lot of games on this computer and it’s gonna work smoothly. It will glitch or maybe even freeze. When it does freeze, press control all and delete go to task start task. Click on that and then click on the program that’s not responding and then click in task and it should hopefully end it without issues.
