The shipping box is thin, so one side ripped and the whole side got scuffed up during shipping. It's not the end of the world. It holds ice very well and is very sturdy to sit or even stand on. Wish that it had tie down holds molded into the side like a yeti. The cutting board/divider is a very nice addition that's included at no extra cost.

We bought this for a festival camping trip in Tennessee. The entrie trip it was 90 degrees and lasted 6 days. we precooled the cooler and it retained ice for 12 days. TWELVE DAYS! The last 3 or so days were inside around 75, but still impressive. Thats incredible for the price, it outperformed yeti rotomolded coolers.

Doesn't really live up to expectations. i have a small off brand cooler that keeps ice longer than this one. Also, i keep the latches closed when im not using it and the outaide edges where the holes are for locks, if you choose, started curling up. Really have no use for this cooler. I shouldve gone with a yeti and spent the extra money. This cooler was a waste of my hard earned money.

This ice chest does hold alot and keeps things cold, although the ice melts faster than we thought it would. The major disadvantage is the weight. It is very heavy without anything in it and when it is filled with ice and other things it is ridiculously hard to carry.

Wonderful cooler. If you're like me, and just like to have an awesome cooler around the house for simple outside activities (BBQ's etc.) this cooler is way more than you need. I can fill it with ice and drinks, leave it in my porch for at least a week, still has ice... still, after a frickin week!

What an awesome cooler!! Put 4 bags of ice in this cooler and all of our groceries for the Memorial Day Weekend. After 5 days of camping we still had 4 bags 3/4 full thst we were able to dump on our trees and bushes when we got home Monday afternoon. Ive used arge coolers on extended desert rafting trips where the temperatures are above 100 degrees for 5-6 days for more than 20 years. . Lifetime coolers hold ice as well as the best roto-molded brand, no question there. The difference has been durability. Standing on lifetime coolers, one could feel the lid sag and deform, causing the cooler not to seal as well. This cooler seems to have resolved that. I weight 190 pounds and standing on it there is no perceptible sag. Quart-for-quart, this is about $300-500 less than a roto-molded cooler. Ive been waiting for a cooler like this for 20 years. These are also lighter than root-molded, and the latch mechanism is more durable than most of them which use a rubber latch that crack over time.

This cooler worked out great. Filled it with about 70 frozen water bottles, took it to Bimini and we still had frozen bottles left after 6 days. Food alongside the bottles stayed cold as well. Cant imagine needing things to stay frozen much longer than that for our use so this was a great alternative to a yeti at an affordable price. Would definitely recommend!

This cooler had optimal ice retention. We filled up on Sunday and still had ice on Thursday. The cooler was in the shade and covered with a tarp when not in use. Pros: the latches were easier to operate than the competition ice retention. used for 5 days and ice was still solid, food was still cold handles were sturdy three different lock placement drain gasket is attached to unit cons: the drain gasket leaks, even after tightening. I'd exchange for a new one but it's such a hassle :( it is a heavy cooler so even heavier depending on what's inside of it I'm overall happy with this cooler and would buy it again

went pickup item outside pickup area and employee loaded in car. when I got home notice one latch on lid was missing. it seems like someone would check out item before loading. I am partially at fault for not looking at item. the whole idea is you stay in your car not to interact with employees for the spread of the virus. now I have to deal with getting another latch or a return. not happy with Walmart. other than that the item was a good deal compared to other brands of same quality.
