It’s one ply with cushion. It’s soft and gets the job done. It is septic safe but with kids I will still stick with the regular being they over use.

That’s one of the many reasons why this product is very effective. It will not clog our septic tank or laterals. Add in small compact size, price per sheet and how well it does the job and you have a winner. For a family of four including 3 females, it will be our go to for toilet paper!

Overall you can feel and see how reliable it is vs actually just purchasing 2 ply toilet paper. I was surprised to see how well it actually worked.
