Its very smooth, we use it for old fashioneds. I do find i get a worse headache some mornings when drinking Crown Royal (in moderation) than other whiskeys

Very smooth, really nice mixer with anything carbonated. I like it with any Coke or Pepsi product but it is also really nice with a peach sparkling water (LaCroix or Bubbly).

My Husband Loves Crown Royal. His Favorite Would Have To Be Crown Black. I Don't Drink Dark Liquor Much, But Crown Has To Be The Only One I Will Drink With A Coke. It's Nice And Smooth.

One I reach for when I am in a whiskey mood, smooth but rich in flavor. Makes for great whiskey sours! Or one that's not as popular sweet tea with crown black.

Love crown I prefer crown apple though...but I should say crown black is really smooth I didnt know what to drink it with ! Make a black with a fruit flavor 

I love Crown Royal Black! It is double the alcohol percentage and tastes just as smooth. The packaging is always pristine. This brand always meets my expectations with ease. I get this after a long day to sip before bed.

This is one of the best whiskeys I've ever had! It's very smooth so you can shoot it straight and really dont need a chaser. You can also mix it with a coke if you want!

I am more into bourbon but if I am going to choose another whiskey this is a decent choice. I like it mixed with Diet Coke but not straight up. Definitely ok for mixed drinks...probably better than most and more affordable than most bourbon.

So smooth! The taste just keeps going and going. I love to just sip on a glass of this after the kids have gone to bed when I'm reading a book, real Masterpiece theater scenario. I don't drink it often, but I will watch for it when I'm low.

Great taste! Smooth finish with a bite. Crown always delivers a great product. Big fan! Crown Black is excellent by itself or paired with ginger ale, in my opinion. I would absolutely recommend to others.
