I love that has the automatic timer setting (the middle switch between on and off) so that I don't have to climb to top of the tree every time I wanna turn it on. It is a bit heavy, but I just used the claw clip that's attached to it to clip it to the rod of the tree base and that worked perfect.

Bought Angel as a gift but almost kept for myself. Well made and very pretty. Good price too I felt. Pleased with purchase.

I'm so happy that I purchased this star tree topper, even if it does run on batteries! It is beautiful, and I can't believe it didn't cost more than it did! I just read that it has a timer option. I'll have to check that option out tomorrow night. As long as you're okay with the tree topper being battery operated, then you better purchase one before they are sold out!

I was looking forward to receiving this tree topper, but I was stunned that this topper does not include a plug but instead a large battery pack. Shame on me for not reading the description that stated batteries were included... I just assumed I would be able to plug this into my tree. Christmas trees come with a plug at the top for this purpose! Why would I want to turn on a very small switch on a bulky battery pack every time I want the lights on? And how do I hide this battery pack? Otherwise, quality is pretty good and this is the look I want... but I think I'll return it. Very disappointed!

Visually, this is a 5-star topper. Functionally, it is a 1-star product. Making a massive tree topper battery-operated without providing a remote control is a baffled design choice. I put this on a 12' tree, meaning the switch is inaccessible. The built-in 6-hour timer isn't long enough for the holiday season, and once the batteries die, good luck changing them. I ended up spending an extra $20 on a kit to hardwire it to a plug. It's a beautiful piece, but very frustrating to use right out of the box.

Very disappointed. I should've read it was battery operated. Also doesn't appear to have an on/off switch to set the timer. Unless mine came broken.
