Broken after 3 years of light use

I thought the oven was great for the first couple of years we’ve had it. I have had issues with it reaching a true temperature for a couple of years now as of two weeks ago I haven’t been able to use the oven at all because it will not heat up because it isn’t sealing properly. Nothin indicates that the seal is even broken. I am very disappointed in this product definitely not worth the money spent. As far as you goes, I may have used the oven once or twice a week at the most.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience—we truly appreciate your care and attention to detail, Angel! It sounds like your oven may need a quick check to ensure everything is working properly. Sometimes, heating issues can be related to the door seal, thermostat calibration, or other components. We’d love to help you get back to cooking with confidence. Very poor reliability! Faulty parts. LG fails!

This range is only two years old and I started getting F9 error message, oven would not heat. Seems that the igniter is faulty as well as its ability to maintain heat once it gets there (panel reads 400 while oven thermometer reads 200). LG so far has not taken accountability for these faulty parts. I will be filing complaints with California Attorneys General and BBB. A range for this pricepoint should have better reliability and if the parts are faulty, then LG should do the right thing and replace gratis.

Hey there! We're here for you and we want to help as much as we can. The F9 error typically means the oven isn't reaching temperature, often due to an igniter or heating element. While a power reset can sometimes help, visual inspections or professional diagnosis might be needed. Here's a link to some more information from our LG Help Library: https://shorturl.at/oFk1o. We want to thoroughly investigate everything you've detailed and work towards a comprehensive resolution for you. Please send us a direct message @LGUSSupport with your range's model number, serial number, and original purchase date. If you have any case or service request numbers from your interactions with LG regarding these issues, please include those as well. We are committed to addressing your concerns directly and reviewing your situation. ^ Diego

Great features

I love all the features this stove has. The only downside is the glass cook top. I can't seem to get it as clean and polished. I dont like the rubber at the end of the glass and the grid like geature of the glass. I use Ceramabryte and Weinman stove cleaner. It does not take off the stains. I feel it takes too longer to get it clean. I have some stains that can't be removed. I should not have to spend so much time cleaning a smooth top stove. I also hate the big piece of rubber on the edges. It makes it look cheap. I feel that with time and from seeing all the complaints that eventually the smooth top will look bad. The pictures ai posted was after cleaning it with soap and water, Ceramabryte, scraping it with the blade handle Ceramabryte has included with the solution and polishing after removing the Ceramabryte with a dry cloth.

Hey there! We appreciate this super detailed review of your LG range. We could give you some of our best tips for cleaning a glass cooktop. So, to clean your LG glass cooktop, ensure it's cool and apply a non-abrasive cleaner or a paste of baking soda and water, then gently scrub with a soft cloth or non-abrasive pad. For burnt-on residue, carefully scrape with a sharp razor blade at a 45-degree angle. Wipe away all cleaner and residue with a damp cloth, then dry with a separate, dry microfiber cloth to prevent streaks. You can find out more on how to clean up your glass cooktop with this guide: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-range-how-to-clean-my-glass-cooktop--20153105432922.
