Quality of this product has diminished over the years. I have purchased several models of this dryer over the years for different homes. The first thing I noticed is the steel gauge of the frame is much thinner. So much so that when you even put your hand on top of the dryer top it pops. Compared to other year models there is a big difference in the weight of the dryer? Which concerns me on what is being used in the internal parts. When I open the dryer door the light does not come on? I have to turn the power button on to get the light to come on. I have called on this and was told that this is how the dryer was made? Why would you make a dark dryer when you would have to turn it on when you are opening it up to retrieve your dried clothing? Now as far as all the settings yes they are the same and yes they are great! The dryer works. It is not as quiet as the previous dryers. I am assuming because of the thin gauge metal and what ever short cuts taken to make it so light. One other thing that I failed to mention the diameter of the machine is smaller than the previous machines. This I liked it gave more room in my washroom! There are pros and cons to this machine. My cons are that the light does not turn on when the door opens and the thin Frame used on the machine which makes the dryer louder and the door clang. My pros are that there are great settings on this dryer and it does do a great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going on three weeks of having this dryer and we are loving it so far. Like the paired washer, it is huge! A feature I love about this dryer is that it “talks/communicates” with the washer machine. So whatever cycle and settings you used on the washer machine for that particular load, it will then communicate those settings over to the dryer to pre-select the most appropriate drying cycle for that particular load. Our most favorite feature of this dryer is the multiple ways you can open the dryer door. When loading wet clothes into the dryer, the door can be opened straight down, so that your wet clothes have less chances of falling on the floor. Then when the cycle is complete, you can open the door in the more traditional manner of sideways. With this option, you place your laundry basket under the door for ease of emptying the dryer and removing your clothes.

For the first time I was able to wash a king size quilt (in my new LG washer) and the dryer was big enough to accommodate it - took 4 cycles to get it completely dry throughout, but it did a great job!

I really like my new dryer. The look is sleek, and the double hinging door design makes it easy to load and unload in my small laundry room (a 6 foot square). I like my clothes bone dry when I remove them from the dryer, but I still haven't figured out how to have the cycle default to “very dry;” I have been adjusting the settings each time. Also my athletic socks are thick and have to be dried on a rack after the cycle is done because they haven't dried adequately in the dryer. Despite these few faults I still really like my new dryer!

I have had this set for two weeks now. I like the dryer very much. It has great features. It drys the loads quickly. TheW/D pair are very attractive. My old dryer require water being added for the steam function, but this dryer is hooked directly to the water, so I don't even have to think about it!

I like the dryer better than the top load washer without the agitator. The dryer works fine, nothing impressive. There are some loads that it's still damp. the two way opening door feature is nice. its quiet as well. although not cheap ! They say you will be lucky if it lasts 10 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 weeks ago. You must read the manual. However the manual does not include a list of error codes and what they mean. Learn to use the website so you can look up error codes. Make sure you have the dryer vent cleaned before installation as the exhaust sensor is super sensitive. Steam dry will not dry your clothes but does an excellent job removing any wrinkles. Love the two way door.
