I would say this is a great gin for mixed cocktails. I like Gin with soda, so this is not my first choice as the taste is quite strong. But I do like making cocktails and other mixed drinks with other liquors. If you are not a habitual gin drinker, do not let this be your first try. 

Classic dry gin with strong pine and juniper flavors and lighter notes of citrus. Mixes well in most any gin cocktail but particularly well in gin & tonic. If you're not a fan of juniper this likely won't be for you and you'll want to select a more contemporary gin.

Gin is my daily drink and Beefeater is my gin of choice. Cheap gins are completely overpowered by the tonic and more expensive ones are a waste of money diluted with tonic. Tanqueray has a slight edge in taste over Beefeater, but only if I'm drinking my gin on the rocks. I can't tell the difference in a G&T. Favorite tonic is Seagrams, but I generally use a cheaper store brand unless I have company. I also prefer a lemon slice over lime in my G&T.

When I began my career, I traveled a lot, especially to the UK-with my male colleagues. It took ONE mixed drink that was green (and pretty good) to make me find something else! I started drinking gin overseas, enjoying Beefeater. I'm not the person to ask for a brand comparisons, but I've found a few I don't mind recommending.

Solid dry gin for a home bar. Makes a decent basic gin and tonic, and a classic for dry martinis and gibsons. It has a very clean flavor without much of an alcohol burn. Affordable, widely available, would recommend for people to keep as a basic bar staple.

Beefeater has always been my favorite gin and gin is my favorite alcohol. It is best mixed with Ruby red grapefruit juice and crushed ice. It is pricey, but it is so smooth, it is worth paying a little more for the quality. I would highly recommend to others. Beefeater London Dry Gin

This product has very specific taste. I know there are additional ingridients except alchohol and juniper which could be great, but for me it tastes like a cough mixture. And it doesn't have enough "dryness" IMHO. Regarding to its powerful taste. I don't think Beefeater is a good choice for coctails.

This is my favorite gin. One of the perks of being a gin drinker is that most people are afraid of it and won't drink all your liquor. If I'm able to convince someone to try beefeater they usually drink it with me. I usually mix it with pineapple or squirt. Weird, I know but it's delicious. Most people I share it with end up loving it. It's refreshing.

I don't know anything about gin, but I've purchased this one a few times and like it. It mixes well with San Pellegrinos! It doesnt overpower the drink so I enjoy making flavorful mixed drinks with it when I'm tired of using vodka. If you're new to gin, start with this one.

perfect inexpensive brand of gin. This can be found virtually in any supermarket or liquor store. Love this brand neat with ice, or mixed with a low calorie mixer. This is also wonderful with some orange juice.  keep in the freezer for a more flavorful drink. highly recommend.
