I enjoy using this to make mojitos and other cocktails when I'm having a girl's night. I'm not the biggest fan of the taste of hard alcohol but this isn't so bad on it own either. I would definitely recommend making a cocktail though for maximum enjoyment and for a nice buzz.

Ok not going to lie, I hate white rum and this one truthfully is pretty nasty. BUT it makes a mean mojito. This is the only rum I will use for my favorite drink because it is strong enough and it can take the punch of the line. This drink on its own is wayyyyy too strong in scent, in flavor, in potent. Bacardi Superior Run is a clear rum, that mixes fairly well for drinks, but I would never drink it as a shot and or on the rocks. I also think that the specialness of a brand that used to have history, has completely been lost with all the buyouts by major owners/stakeholders and it is all about what the shareholders can make off a brand these days in the 21st century rather than providing history and brand reputation for quality at a good price; this is a very expensive brand.

We don’t drink much rum in our house, but after a recent trip to Mexico, I was craving mojitos. This was a great choice, and I had no complaints. I honestly don’t a lot about rums, so I will probably try others next time I buy, but I would recommend this one.

Thus is the staple rum in my liquor cabinet. It mixes well with so many drinks. Its smooth and doesn't impart a strong flavor, like spiced and coconut rums can. Although we usually have those varieties in our cabinet too, its the bacardi silver that we reach for most often.

This is a good cheap rum if you don’t want to spend a lot of money and are making summertime fruity cocktails. I like to make this mango smoothie with rum in the summer and this is what I use as the flavor is not strong so it doesn’t overpower the rest of the drink. Of course, some people hate the taste of this because they had bad experiences with it, so it is not for everyone.

This is my go to white rum for mojitos. It is very smooth, and makes great mixed drinks. It's not too expensive, so I don't mind purchasing it. I've also tried to make Pina coladas with this, and it's not the best in those. Overall, would purchase again of buying white rum.

Great crisp, clean taste that mixes well with anything! I love using it with coke, Sprite or juice for a variety of drinks. It's great for daiquiris, just mix or blend with some simple syrup, citrus, and ice.  But for a lighter drink it's a great addition to sparking water or flavored Seltzer to make my own Hard Seltzer! 

This is my man's go to alcohol. Rum is too sweet for me. Barcadi is better then what else is there though so I really can't complain. I've had rum and Coke not a fan with Barcadi. Barcadi with sweet tea I can drink all day every day since I don't taste the rum.
