If any mixed drinks requires rum, Bacardi is always my go to. It’s has a very smooth taste and goes down easy. I think the packaging could be more attractive, but I guess if it sells why worry about it.

Has to be my favorite followed by DonQ. I have to admit I am a bit partial to this brand. If you ever have a chance to go to Puerto Rico take a trip to the factory

Bacardi is another go to grab one throwing parties. Everybody knows of Bacardi it is not overly strong and flavor and it doesn’t leave a lingering aftertaste.

Okay I didn’t buy this gigantic bottle but it’s the only one that was on there for regular rum. I’ve been buying this brand for years. The flavored ones aren’t bad either. It’s one of those things where if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

This is a lovely drink that can be used as a mixer in cocktails or a juice added or straight over ice. Making it very versatile . Lovely flavour profile . Great used in fizzy coke . Does not have an overpowering aroma to it .

Something that I love to have when I make a Mojito in the warmer summer weather. I find that it pairs well with the mint and lime flavours and smells lovely

Not too great alone in my opinion, but definitely Elite in a mixed drink. Great for parties, jungle juice, or a batch cocktail. It jazzes up everything you put it in.

This is my favorite rum to use for a punch. It doesn't have an overpowering taste so it blends well with whatever you mix it with. It isn't pricey either so that is a plus as well! I haven't tried it with anything else other than making punches.

I have bought 1L bottle to enjoy with family and friends over the Christmas holidays. I love mixing this making cocktails, my favourite is Mojito, it's very refreshing and the vanilla flavour from the rum goes very well with the mint aroma.
