[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several Samsung TV's. The newest TV I purchased a few months back will not allow me to turn the sound off when I turn the volume up or down. It repeats the channel numbers as I change channels. It is very annoying and confusing. Robert McLeod

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are extremely happy with our Samsung television. It's got a sharp, bright picture and it's very easy to use. I've had other Samsung televisions before and that's why I keep coming back when I need a new one. Samsung never disappoints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is fairly bright and picture looks good. Its resolution is sharp and has good darkness and black that is true dark in color. The refresh rate is good for high motion video and sports and action events look good on the tv. It's a good tv only thing is it has had a few software glitches that required a restart to clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well packaged. Easy set up. Clear picture and sound. 2 weeks in, all apps stopped working. A YouTube search told me to fix any Samsung issues try doing a reboot by holding the power button down. That worked thankfully. Hoping the issue does not repeat. App responsiveness is slow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this TV is exquisite! I am amazed every time I sit down and watch a HD TV show. The picture is the most "life like" I have ever seen. I have a couple of other SAMSUNG TVs but they are older models and don't have near the picture quality of the UHD U8000FD and the menu for navigating to different sources is very user friendly.

The picture is very clear and bright; the sound is acceptable.  What annoys me is having to set up an account in order to add apps. Also, the remote is awful. The buttons are simply too small and there's no microphone on it. Really? I ordered a new remote and already returned it. Same as the one that came with the TV but it had the microphone icon. Same small buttons and ridiculous way to control the sound. I found the microphone to be pretty useless. It opens a browser on the TV. It doesn't take you to the shows you want to watch like the ROKU stick does. I downloaded the SmartThings app to my Samsung phone so I can use it as the TV remote.However, trying to "share" it to another phone is a nightmare. WHY does Samsung make user interface so difficult? This TV might be the last Samsung product I purchase.

The crisp, bright, and beautiful resolution of this TV was the best I've seen in a long time. No. Now mind you we've only purchased vizio brand tvs but I went be going back to them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for the price. I picked this up at Costco. It is s vast improvement over our old 45" LG model. I connected my Samsung phone and everything just worked. It is clear and bright. Great value! The contrast is as expected. Good at that. The picture has good uniformity across the image. It is responsive enough. It does take a few seconds to boot. I like it.
