Not as good as reviews would leave you to believe...

I have a 2004 Toyota Camry with over 260,000 miles on it and I have been driving Michelin tires for years. But the tire I had been using was discontinued and these were recommended. I read up on them and the reviews were all good. But after purchase, it seemed as though they were never able to balance them properly. Unlike prior Michelin's I had, the ride was always on the harsh side. I had my car looked over by my mechanic and they could find nothing wrong. Now at 40,000 miles and no where near the warranty, I'm just at the wear bars and need new tires. When new, they were very good in heavy rain. Now, they feel unsafe. Won't purchase again.

Junk...

These tires came on my leased 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. I currently have 30k on the van and the tread is low. I have 8 months left on my lease and I have to pay for new tires. There is NO way these tires are good for 60k

So Impressed with Michelin!

Premier AS, first time having purchased premium tires, as I now have a VW. (Prior Nissan, Toyota) So, Price higher, but I was appreciative of Michelin Promise Plan! Reviews were split of noise, but most smooth & quiet ride, noticed by myself and others - both drivers and passengers. will buy Micheli

Already Worn Out by 2/3rd of the Rated Miles

These are the OEM tires that came on my Pacifica Hybrid when we purchased the vehicle new. The vehicle just crossed over 40k miles on the odometer and these tires are very near the end of their service life (down to the last 2/32" of tread). Other than the rather disappointingly fast wear (for tires warrantied for 60k miles), they drive well in most normal driving conditions (dry, wet, highway speeds), but are TERRIBLE in the snow. I'm not sure if it's because of the high amount of instant torque the hybrid drivetrain makes or it's just these tires, but it's very difficult to get traction from a stop. Even in wet conditions, if you try to pull away from a left/right hand turn, it'll lose traction on the inside wheel and spin the tire. I drive my other car (much lighter sedan) with BFGoodrich tires on it similarly and it rarely breaks free.

Great Tires So Far

I recently replaced my original tires on my 2015 Subaru Legacy with the Michelin Premier A/S. I have 2,500 miles on them and they are great. Excellent in the rain. We have had only one snow storm in my area and we got about 6 " and the tires preformed well. No problem with excessive noise.

Pretty good tire 30k so far

I love the mileage wear, the handling in the wet and dry. The wet is almost as good as the old Hydroedge at water displacement, with the nice V rated grip, the Hydroedges didn't have. The siping seems like a brilliant idea, though with the softer compounds, the sipe void does like to embed nails and whatnot into itself. In areas that don't clean the streets as well, these tires will be magnets for nails/debris/subsequent flats (2 so far). This is the main reason I will jump to another tire, based on my driving style should go to the Pilot Sport AS 3, but due to miles driven all the time, am uncertain and await the next release/model.

Not worth it. Does it get more than 30000 miles before

These are the second time I purchased these tires for my wife's Toyota Solara. The first time she barely had 40000 miles. This second set has just less than 30000 miles and need replacement. Alway been a Michelin tire for all vehicles. I will be looking for another brand.

Mart42, we're sorry that you are disappointed in the mileage received with the Premier A/S. Remember, there is a mileage warranty on this tire. The warranty indicates you should get credit based on the mileage you received. A member of our team will be in touch to work with you and your retailer on initiating a mileage claim.

RAPID TREAD WEAR!

Got a set of these tires for our Subaru Forrester 2 1/2 years ago, rode under 37,000 miles with them, and today Subaru service agents are saying they need replacing with treads at 3/32 for two of them, 4/32 for one and 2/32 for the fourth!! How do you get 60,000 miles out of these disappointing Michelin tires? We like Michelin, but now considering other makes. Maybe Michelin is no longer the company it used to be?

Having Second Thoughts

I have a 2012 Camry LE. The OEM tires were the Energy Savers, which were smooth and quiet. They were down to 4/32 at 43K miles. So, it being winter here in New England, I researched and replace them with the Premiers. Now, I'm second guessing my choice. The Premiers seem noisier and feel like they don't absorb bumps quite as well. Maybe new Energy Savers were in order, but I read the Premiers were a better tire for grip in foul weather. Slightly disappointed.
