I specifically put it out because there were plenty of flies and insects that we’re getting in to the house that my cats weren’t catching and I checked the trap multiple times and there’s not a single one in it. I do think it’s a good price point for the item, I don’t like that you have to plugged in all the time, but I’m glad it doesn’t take batteries at least. I felt like the fan lasted longer than the 12 hours that it says, I feel like the instructions were simple, but still didn’t do the trick.

However, in my use for 8 hours at night, the two didn't catch anything. To be fair, I have another STEM device nearby, the plug-in light with a sticker, which catches my flying insects. I like that you can use a timer for 3, 8, or 12 hours. It's very convenient for the night use. I don't like that it makes a humming noise. Also, I don't like that I need to buy more sticky liners and change them. The device itself is not very easy to use and understand.
