It’s very quiet, we currently have it running continuously, but I do like the options of timers as well. I plan on putting it away when not needed since it larger than a plug in. I love the battery life and that it is rechargeable! A con is that the product is quite large compared to other bug zapper products made by Stem, but would be great if you have extra room and remember it! Another negative is that I’m not sure how great it does outside without being in a sunroom, tent, or enclosed space, but I do think because its size, it will have great success!

It’s also super quiet and glows a soft purple light if using it at night.

I think it would be an especially good fit for houses that have a large infestation of flying insects. The fan that run in the unit is quiet, and you could barely hear it even standing right next to the unit. I also appreciated that this trap has built in timer option which allows you to chose to only have the unit running for that set time before it turns off. I wish you could also set to have it to turn on, as this is something you have to remember to do if you don’t want to leave it running continuously, which I did not do. I do wish that this had a rechargeable battery/ battery mode as well so that I could take this outside as I think it would be great to reduce gnats on my porch, however the unit only has a plug in cord.
