[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love house plants but I don’t love how they attract unwanted insects! This fan trap is the perfect solution. It’s small, portable and great for a home office. It appears well built and I expect it to last for years to come. One draw back is the inevitable shortage of the glue traps. While I love that they are insecticide free, I will need to purchase additional traps to keep using it once the initial supply (which is generous) is used up.

I can pack it up and take it with me thanks to it's compact size not to mention it's cute and very functional.

I placed the fan trap in my kitchen between the sink and my trash can and let it run for 3 hours. I caught what looked to be some fruit flies. It was really cool. Can’t wait to use it again after I’ve hosted an event at my house because people tend to go in and out of the house giving access to random flies every so often.

When you use this brand's outlet plug glue traps, you see the glue trap cemetery of dead bugs behind the light when it's plugged in, so I like that the sticky death mat is hidden in this device, and this device seems to attract more bugs than the outlet plug sticky trap lights. The device was very easy to set up and get ready to use. I love that there's a 6 foot cord because it reaches the outlet easily where I placed it, and it looks like sleek tech on the table near our window. The UV light that attracts the bugs seems to work best at night, but I am keeping it plugged in and running 24/7. I don't usually see many bugs in my house this time of year, but apparently some small gnats have made their way in because a handful of them have succumbed to the glue trap in this unit at some point in the last 4 days. My next unit will be placed in my pet feeding area of my kitchen, and I want to put one near my fruit bowl as well to ensure that fruit flies aren't an issue this year. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing 3 more before the spring/summer bug season to cover my whole first floor.
