It’s perfect for inside my house when I’m cooking and a fly or fruit fly make their way into my house. It traps them on the sticky trap. The buttons are easy to understand and use. Such a great product to buy it’s sleek and looks really nice in my house.

Setting it up was very easy, and I like that it is safe for my family and pets. I placed it in my kitchen and near the trash can, and it caught many bugs! The UV light is a nice touch—it works well and also looks good as a night light. The trap is quiet, and there is no strong smell. Changing the refill is simple. It’s a great product for keeping my home bug-free!

Overall about the product: This came nicely packaged and is a well made device. It has a nice looking, smooth top with touch buttons to turn it on, select high or low fan, or adjust run time (always on, 3hr, 8hr, 12hr). In low fan mode, it's very quiet. On the high setting, I can hear it from across the room, but it's fan noise and not loud or distracting at all. If you have a hepa filter in the room, that will most likely be louder. As for operation, it's simple. The device twists apart and you drop one of the round glue discs of which 5 are included. Then, twist it back together and turn it on. Overall, it's the LED enhanced version of a tape fly trap. The LED's are a violet color and don't really bother you unless you look into the device; placing it above or below where you look is best. It's not to bright at night either, but does seem to attract the flying pests. We let it run for a few days and it did catch some annoying little flies . In conclusion : If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, chemical-free solution, this is definitely worth considering!

But when it comes to actually catching insects, especially flies, it just didn’t live up to the hype. It did catch a few fruit flies, but that’s about it. It didn’t attract any flying insects like I hoped it would. I really wish they had included something with a scent or lure inside to help draw the bugs in. Without that, it just kind of... sits there. Please, STEM—do something that actually works. I can’t stand having flies around, and this unfortunately didn’t solve the problem. Gifted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an absolute godsend for Texas spring. This was super easy to set up with the directions printed directly on the box. It’s silent when it runs and not at all distracting, though the light can be bright in a bedroom. It’s very easy to install the sticky trap in the base and offers 3 different modes for fan duration. We tried in 3 rooms of the house, first the bedroom. We caught just a few fruit flies, then tried near the patio door and several more were trapped. I’m currently keeping it next to my fruit bowls and it has trapped far more fruit flies and gnats on the quest for bananas. I absolutely love this and I think it will be very helpful when mosquito season really starts.

It looks like a mini air purifier, so it actually blends in with my home instead of looking like a typical bug trap. It was super easy to set up, and within a day, I could already see it working. It is super effective. Maintenance is a breeze - just need to change out the glue trap and replace with a new one when needed. Not only does it do a great job catching gnats, fruit flies, and other little pests without harsh chemicals, but it’s also durable, versatile, and portable! I can easily move it between rooms, and it keeps working just as effectively. If you’re dealing with annoying flying bugs, I 100% recommend this!

It’s been set up for over 2 weeks and runs for 8 hours every day. I still see random little flies in the kitchen so I wish it was a little more effective. There were only a few flies in there after over 2 weeks. I expected more.

Now this STEM fan trap that attracts the flying flies and all the nasty ones. Its very nice material and has UV light. Perfect for indoors and outdoors. It comes with 5 traps and a small brush to clean the vents. It also has a block and a 6ft cable which is great and a must especially outside! This would definitely stay on my table outside when I am cooking and having meals with my family.
