It’s nice and portable and fits in any small space, I put mine on the kitchen counter by the sink and window. Once the fly has flown into the opening towards the light the fan sucks it in to the chamber where there is a sticky pad. This makes for quick clean up and maintenance.

However, it’s not really attracting the flies or some small insect that was in the house. I tried to turn it on both in the morning and night but doesn’t work well. I don’t think this machine is worth the money. Not recommended!

I’ve been wanting something to set on the kitchen counter to attract gnats that seem to follow my bananas and onions home from the store. My wall outlets are too close to my food prep areas for me to be comfortable with the sticky kind but this one is working out well because I can move it further away. Timer function is a definite plus. Quite pleased with it. The blue light is bright to attract flying critters. The fan is relatively quiet. I wish it was rechargeable/cordless, so that it can be placed anywhere.
