Noise is barely noticeable and the black light serves as a good kitchen night light. Very light weight and easy to move from area to area. I need to find out where to buy more sticky circles for when I’m out. Not sure how long each one should last.

Low maintenance: You just have to empty the trap cup every few days and occasionally clean it. Safe around pets and kids.

It has a nice looking, smooth top with touch buttons to turn it on, select high or low fan, or adjust run time (always on, 3hr, 8hr, 12hr). In low fan mode, it's very quiet. On the high setting, I can hear it from across the room, but it's fan noise and not loud or distracting at all. If you have a hepa filter in the room, that will most likely be louder. As for operation, it's simple. The device twists apart and you drop one of the round glue discs of which 5 are included. Then, twist it back together and turn it on. Overall, it's the LED enhanced version of a tape fly trap. The LED's are a violet color and don't really bother you unless you look into the device; placing it above or below where you look is best. It's not to bright at night either, but does seem to attract the flying pests. We let it run for a few days and it did catch some annoying little flies and mosquitos that were around in the bathroom. Don't expect it to clear the room in an hour or two, it took a few days to really start collecting the pests. But, it does work as planned and we are very happy with the results. It also looks great - much better than the tape strips, and it will keep kids away from touching anything gross on those strips.

The fan produces minimal noise during nighttime. I can sleep peacefully without any disturbance. I set it to 8 hours so it turns on automatically at night and off during the day, which saves energy and hassle. Chemical-Free! Safe for people and pets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So it definitely attracts and traps little gnats, but I can’t help but wonder if it attracts them inside somehow too! I don’t usually have this many gnats flying around all the time and I’ve seen more and more lately flying around. So I’m not sure if it’s just coincidence or what. But at least it is getting quite a lot of them. I am not sure how often I would have to replace the pads. It did come with a few, but that is something that would need to be purchased in order to keep using the product.

The UV light, fan, and sticky pad combo work well together, though I do wish it was more portable. I appreciate that the sticky pads are placed at the bottom instead of the sides—it makes them so much easier to use. The device itself isn’t heavy and can be easily moved anywhere with a plug. Looking forward to seeing it in full action during the upcoming warm season!

Don't use those ugly sticky strips that get caught in your hair . Try this awesome quiet fan that attracts insects with the UV light and then the fan sucks them down inside where a pesticide free glue trap awaits them. Easy to use , great looking, works like a charm!

It’s super quiet and I love that it doesn’t use chemicals. The UV light attracts bugs, and the fan pulls them in, but you need to leave it on for a while to see results. It’s easy to set up and clean, plus it’s small so it doesn’t take up much space. Works best in a dark room!

I’ve run it for 12 hours two days in a row and have only caught what looks like cat hair on the sticky pad. It’s louder than I expected, on par with our dishwasher or air fryer level of noise. It’s not huge so not entirely intrusive but does take up a lot more space than I anticipated. I think in the future I’d buy the plug ins from Stem versus this machine.
