I live in a rural area and bugs are a big issue here. This fly trapper is able to catch all the gnats, flies, and the baby mosquitoes that I'm not able to swat. The bugs are very attracted to the light and as long as I have it on, it will trap them all day long. I love the sleek, modern design. It looks elegant and high tech, and I love that it keeps the bugs hidden so I don't have to see them. I also really like how quiet it is. I can hear the fan when on, but just barely. Definitely a great investment!

We have a bunch of plants and a humidifier running pretty much all the time and gnats are always an issue. I don’t even notice the presence of gnats in my home anymore! I would highly recommend!

It's straightforward to use, doesn't take up too much space, and is relatively quiet. There's a fan so obviously there will be noise, but I don't mind it. We don't have many mosquitoes at the moment, I left this fan in the kitchen to attract gnats. The trap disc is easy to replace.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It definitely works. I put it in outlets throughout the house near areas where fling insects can squeeze in. It catches fruit flies, knats, flies and all kinds of itty bitty flying insects. It even sadly trapped a bee that apparently got in through a window. Its design is great and it is very sticky (which doesn't wear out). Plus it weighs very little and the very small amount of light it gives off to attract the insects nice actually.

We've tried lots of non-device solutions, such as vinegar and other home remedies, but none of them worked very well. But after putting the fan trap next to our sink, we noticed within a few hours that the fruit flies were attracted to it. It's been a week since we plugged it in and I am happy to report that we no longer have a fruit fly problem. And other than it's success rate, the fan is very quiet and the purple glow from the LED lights is soothing to look at. The design is sleek and modern enough that it looks good next to our other appliances, and would honestly look fine in just about any room. I'm very happy with this pest solution!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In a family that purchases many different fruits, year round, I've been frustrated and irritated with the "colonies" of fruit flies that always seem to hatch and take over many areas of our kitchen. Several years ago I tried using a small "capsule like" preventive container, didn't work. A year ago my wife purchased several plug in contraptions that focused on attracting the fruit flies to land and stick on the paper collector. Although we placed three in different plugs around the kitchen, they seemed to congregate to one, yet a majority of the bugs never were attracted to the light and sticky solution. Just when I thought about giving up, I obtained one of the newish "Stem flying bug" collector unit. I was impressed with the detailed trap system, especially the clean design that fits well in our remodeled kitchen, the robust fan and collection area that does well attracting the flying fruit flies that no other similar style bug collection system I previously used. During the winter months, when the population of fruit flies is not prevalent, we have seen no presence of the bugs flying around our fruit stand. The bugs seem more attractive to the unit, as all of the insects were collected in the first week of using the Stem System. We are big free! Winter is ending now, soon we will be opening windows and enjoying the warmer weather. I'm so happy I discovered the Stem system, it is quiet, collects the bags effectively and keeps our kitchen bug free. Can't await to see it work during the warm summer months!

As a consequence, I've been fighting a long losing battle against carpet beetles for years. They're notoriously hard to get rid of similar to bed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not only pretty in the dark but so convenient, especially when in Florida there are little tiny bugs that sneak into the house, so I’m glad that I have something that clears my house through the night! It’s so compact and easy to use, I like that it has a timer so it turns on at night and stops in the morning!
