It’s quiet and mess-free, which is a huge plus. I put it near the kitchen, and within a day or two, I noticed fewer gnats and fruit flies. It works best in a darker spot since the light helps attract bugs. Bigger flies don’t always get caught, but for smaller pests, it’s a simple and low-maintenance solution!

Spring is just hitting so gnats and mosquitoes are not bad at all yet, but they will be. Testing it out for several hours, I was surprised to see a few tiny gnats. I’m excited to use this when the mosquitos come! There is a UV light that attracts the insects and a fan that sucks them down into the sticky tape. Comes with 5 sticky tapes. I’m wondering how long one lasts without changing.

I placed the fan trap in my kitchen between the sink and my trash can and let it run for 3 hours. I caught what looked to be some fruit flies. It was really cool. Can’t wait to use it again after I’ve hosted an event at my house because people tend to go in and out of the house giving access to random flies every so often.
